Bright light
We bought this because my grandma has dementia and will get up in the middle of the night. She had recently hurt her knee and would forget about it until she was up and barely able to more. We were afraid she was going to fall again so we bought this as a way for us to try to secretly watch her and alert us when she got up. We already had a video monitor on her but she would be very quiet when she got up. The motion part you leave in the room lights up very bright blue when it detects motion. Wish there was an option to turn the light off. It did do what it needed to do and alert us which was great and helped up while she was hurt.

Great for hotels
I have a child that lives with autism. He sometimes needs assistance in the restroom, but his bathroom is upstairs. I don’t always hear him in there. So I got this and I place it in his bathroom and keep the receiver downstairs with me. It’s loud enough that no matter where I am downstairs I can hear it and know to go up there to help him. * The downside, it has a stop button on receiver but if someone is still moving on the other side it’ll keep going off. I wish I could hit the button for an off feature then turn it back on when needed. As for now I just pop out one battery. There are buttons and features on the receiver but they are located inside where the batteries are; and like I said it’s LOUD! So rather than even trying to mess with that I just pop out one battery. The other end you can turn on and off, but I don’t wanna hear the alarm for as long as it would take to run up there.*hotel- I took this with us on a family vacation. I am always nervous my son will try to go out of the room while I am sleeping or in the shower. So I just placed the alarm near the door and pointed it a few feet in front. That way we wouldn’t trigger it just normal walking around. Plus also an added piece of security in addition to what I was using it for. All in all pretty happy with it. And like I said only complaint is it’ll keep sounding as long as it detects movement. So an on and off switch on the side of the receiver would be awesome to of added when making this.

I like this for use in my gift and decor shop. I don't like how I can't shut it off very easily.
I have two sensors and one receiver I keep with me when I'm in the back of the store or I'm working on a fixture on the other side of a tall wall. Our company has cut back on staffing, so we can't keep someone up front near the cash register. Our registers are set up to be Self Check Out, but they don't take cash. Many customers don't like Self Check, so I want to be right there if a customer wants me to ring up their purchases. Many customers want to pay cash, so we pretty much need an employee to be hanging around the till area in order to accept the cash. Since I may be right on the other side of a large wall stocking, I can't see if anyone is at the register waiting. This sensor system will alert me when a customer approaches the self check out area. I wish that the receiver vibrated, but that would probably cost a bit more. The ding ding doorbell sound is adequate for me.If I'm in the back of the store and don't hear the door chime, this device alerts me to the fact that someone has entered the store. I work by myself sometimes, so I must know if someone has entered the building. The door chime at the front door is rather quiet, and I don't hear all that well! I keep the reciver device in my jacket pocket, and it "ding dong" rings when motion is detected. I wish it was easier to silence. Customers find it to be really annoying. I usually leave the receiver on a shelf in the back so the customer won't have to listen to the "ding dong" ring when I'm checking them out or assisting with them with their selection.

Very helpful to those who are caregivers
Nice simple product that alerts you when the elderly are on the move. You can clip the receiver to your belt and still get the alert. Like that both the receiver and sensor has volume control. But I wish the pager has a off button/ snooze timer instead of having to click the "Stop" button every time there is motion.

Solves a problem but has flaws
Worked well for about six weeks, then the motion detector quit. It is annoying that the only way to turn off the pager is to pull the battery, especially since the sound/vibration settings have to be reset every time you put the battery back in. The vibration mode is strong enough to wake me, so I don't have to bother with bells. I set the sensor on the floor near his bed so it alerts any time he tries to get up. Four stars only because is solves a problem. I would give 3 1/2 if possible because of the design flaws and quality.

The receiving Pager Can Not be turned off
The pager STOP function only disables the current detection from the transmitter. A subsequent detection will again engage the pager. There is no way for the pager to be TURNED OFF - It looks and acts like a reset button. There is an OFF button on the transmitter but it is not convenient for on-off function since it is more or less placed in the final detection position.

Works
This works, after using In our camper, wanted to turn it off, nothing turns it off. So it's in a closet to keep quiet.

Very sensitive
The monitor is very sensitive and will pick up even the slightest movement. We take care of our elderly mother and use it to alert us when she is getting out of bed, so we can assist her to prevent falls. The only thing I would change is that I wish it had an on/off switch on the Pager, but it does work well.
