Clear stable picture day and night
The optics is good and the picture includes HD quality details. I like the performance in low light. The image stabilizer is doing a good job when I am not moving (i.e. in a car or boat). I could not use it with a stabilizer off, because it become very sensitive and resulted in magnified shaking. I recommend buying this binocular.

Amazing value for image stabilized binoculars
My two main reasons for getting these were for a couple of my hobbies, bird watching and astronomy. They do not disappoint in either. Although I love my Swarovski 8x32's I really wanted something with a bit more power especially for shore birds and waterfowl. I hate carrying a spotting scope and the required tripod but as I have gotten older I can barely hold 10 power binoculars steady enough and I wanted something in the 15 to 20 range that weren't too heavy. These things are very good optically (not Swarovski level but still very good) weigh about 20 oz including battery and the stabilization is excellent, making them exactly fit for purpose, especially birding. My canon 15x50 IS are definitely better for astronomy with obviously brighter images and marginally better stabilization once they settle down. But they weigh more than twice as much. Again less of an issue for astronomy when I am sitting and can brace some of the weight against my body. But a huge issue for birding where I am carrying them around and lifting them all the time. Even the stabilization is better in the Zulu6 for panning than the Canon. So n summary these fit the bill perfectly

Fantastic Binoculars (and a dust cap recommendation)
These are powerful, super sharp, clear, bright, comfortable, and feel super solid. The lightness for 16X is astounding. I saw some reviews that found the IS less than stellar, but I'm happy with it. When you flip that switch on, to call the change merely "dramatic" would be an understatement. As others have noted, the dust caps are so loose they're worthless. But I found something that couldn't fit better if it was designed (by a highly competent person) for the job. 40mm rubber thread protectors. You'll need to trim most of their depth away with a sharp knife, so they have about 5/16 to 3/8 of an inch of interior sidewall left. My cutting was a little crude so I finished them on a stationary disc sander. Mine were left over from a large-diameter propane tank hose, but at the time I'm writing this review, Amazon offers them in red or black, made by Uxcel. Once you trim them down, the fit is literally absolute perfection.I have a pair of the Canon 10X IS binoculars too and like them a lot, except for the somewhat deteriorating rubber coating Canon put on them. I expect the SIG pair to hold up better in that respect, and the choice of 10X or 16X is nice to have. Actually I have two pairs of the Canons and the coating on the ones I got a year ago is harder than the coating on the 8? year old pair, so MAYBE Canon has finally rectified their coating problem.Someone down-rated these SIGs because the IS has auto-shutoff. I think that feature is not only beneficial, but important, to prevent accidental battery drain-down. And I do prefer the SIG's rotary IS switch over the momentary switch on the Canons that has to be held down constantly during use. The SIGs have a little green light that indicates that the IS is activated. It isn't very attention-getting, but bright enough if you think to look for it. And if you don't, they'll be off in 5 minutes or less, a good thing.Other than the ridiculous OEM dust caps, I can think of nothing I'd change about the SIGs. They aren't cheap, but I think I got everything I paid for. Worth it.

rock stable
Didn't know what I was missing till I used these. Amazing difference between off and on. Glass is clear and bright, controls are right at your fingertips, auto 5 min shutoff is a great battery saver. Saw the price in a gun magazine at $1500, paid $880 on amazon.

Why haven't you purchased them yet? Amazing!
I have a slight hand tremor and struggled with my archery. These binoculars are amazing and worth the price. Great value, light weight, and they are smaller than you might think.
