Works well, requires grip strength
They work, but if you have tight valve seals, you're working your grip strength to get the seals off. I found that clamp down and rotate back and forth while working it off was the best method. Yes, it mangles the seal upon removal, but it does not damage the head, and seals are cheap. 5 stars because for the $10 price, it's great. More expensive ones may work better, but I'm only doing heads occasionally and only when the seals need replacing, so this one is perfect for that

Pretty good tool
Pretty good tool... got the job done.. eventually. Tool had a hard time with some seals getting them out... didn't grip well enough.

I love it. It works 100% like professional I work in my Chevy Aveo 2008. and it did the job mechanic don’t think twice to buy it. It works 100% great.

look elsewhere
These things are completely useless if your seals are stuck on the guides. The teeth aren't sharp enough to bite into the seals and they just slip off. This is true even if you are gripping them so hard that the entire tool is severely flexing. I ended up just using various pliers I had around the shop. I couldn't get a single seal off with these things. Absolute garbage.

Works great
Worked great for removing PTFE/Teflon valve stem seals from my Ford Crossflow head. This is one of those tools that is niche but worth the money, I wasn’t having any luck with vise grips.

Made well
I do like how strong these are made, I wasn’t expecting that much from them but I will definitely use them every time I need guide seal pullers. My first use of these were for LML duramax seals and they did very well.
