COMPARISON OF FIDGET TOYS
Two years ago, my autistic homeschooled daughter started college - but first she had to get through a weeklong Orientation, packed with activities, many of which were boring lectures. I was terrified. So I bought fidget toys! This story has a happy ending. She made it through Orientation and is now halfway through college. The fidget toys we purchased have been used by:- my autistic daughter- my ADHD daughter- my autistic daughter’s college friend who also has ASD- my ADHD ex-husband when we want him to stop cracking his knuckles- of course, I’ve also tried them outHere is my assessment:INFINITY CUBE FIDGET TOYSound: LoudWhat it is: A cube that folds out and back together in various configurationsUse: This is my personal favorite and the one my daughter’s friend always grabs when she comes over. While it is quite audible, with constant clacking, the variety is absolutely mesmerizing. Given the clacking, you can use it at home, but you can’t use it in public in a setting where quiet is called for.FIDGET SPINNERSSound: SilentWhat it is: A three-pronged gadget you spin between your thumb and fingerUse: There’s a reason these are so popular! They are very pretty. If you are in the market, the more colorful the better. You can use it anywhere there’s enough light to see. It may be a bit distracting to those around you because it’s so intriguing and pretty, but in general this is a good toy in situations where quiet is called for. Just don’t drop it!MARBLE AND MESHSound: SilentWhat it is: A thin two-inch piece of mesh fabric with a marble sewn insideThis is one of my favorites. Highly portable, they come in multi-packs so it’s not a big deal if you lose one. The concept is simple: You squeeze the mesh and move the marble back and forth. This is my daughter’s go to fidget toy in boring situations.FIDGET CUBESound: Has both silent and loud activitiesWhat it is: A cube with activities on each sideThere is an endless variety of these clever cubes. This is my ex-husband’s favorite. Unfortunately, we’ll be sitting around watching TV and there he is going clack clack clack with the cube. It’s annoying! So it’s a great fidget toy, definitely. But the noise may make you crazy. Not for use around anyone you like.TANGLESound: SilentWhat it is: one-inch curved pieces all together in one long “tangle”Use: You can pull the pieces apart and put them back together, but the real value lies in the fact that you can twist and manipulate the tangle endlessly into different configurations. This is another popular favorite; you really can’t go wrong with this one. It comes in a three-pack and, yes, you can connect them all together. Everyone I’ve handed this to has spent significant time with it.FIDGET BALLSound: QuietWhat it is: a ball with small colored circles and small marbles in each circleUse: The object is to push the marbles into the circles and move things around until the colors match. It’s oddly not held anyone’s attention at my house.FLIPPY CHAINSound: QuietWhat it is: Two metal rings with some bracketing and colorUse: You basically flip around it around. The first one we bought broke almost immediately. We lost the second one. These are brutally small. You can’t play with it if you can’t find it!

Perfect for WFH meetings
Ever sit through meetings that are too long, repetitive, or just boring? This little cube helps me stay somewhat focused while not wanting to pull my hair out. Probably wouldn’t be great if too many people are around because it does click, but it’s perfect while I’m working from home.

Better than thought
I actually thought I purchased a different version of this but my grandchildren love it. It is simple to use; like a fidget toy. I gave it as gift to my grandchildren and they all wanted to play with it. I was surprised at how much they liked it. Definitely worth the money.

Very giftable
Bought as a stocking stuffer and it went over very well. The only complaint I have is that the cubes only play in one set direction, which I guess makes sense since they have to articulate somehow. Overall, they do what they are supposed to but they would be cooler if they were a little more versatile and flexible.

Great fidget toy, just louder than expected.
I had this as a stocking stuffer for my boys, intending that they could use it in class when they need to fidget with something. Unfortunately, it is a lot louder than I expected. It is very loud when the sides hit each other. The description says that it is noiseless and it is definitely not. The quality of the make of the product is good though.

Amazing product. Small and easy to carry.
Honestly I've bought multiple of these because I keep losing them. But they're all amazing, I've dropped them all countless times and they hold up perfectly. Only one time it really "broke" was when one of the caseing things came off, but then I just snapped it back on and fixed it and no further issues came. But 100% 10/10 would recommend. It is overall an amazing fidget. And as someone who has adhd and has struggled to find good fidgets, this one is a lifesaver

Works for me
I have Bipolar and PTSD and this really works for me. I have a hard time relaxing and my fingers are always moving across my fingernails or picking at clothing. After years I now have something that helps.

Not worth the price.
The toy is very flimsy and the item I received seems kinda used. It has scratches all over it. The joints/rivets aren't as tight and the whole toy feels kind of loose, which kind of ruins the experience. Bought it for 750 INR which now feels way too overpriced. Either I received a defective piece or this is very overpriced.

Great fidget toy for an autistic teenager
I bought this for my autistic nephew's 18th birthday as part of a 'bundle' of presents & he doesn't want to put it down. It is even helping him with his nervousness to different situations, fidgeting takes his mind off it!

it's a thing..
Well, apart from being a copy of another product, it's not that fun.And unlike the original, the edges are quite pointy making it more uncomfortable in your hand. It's not that stress relieving either, as it only does 4 movements really, kinda more frustrated now.
