Balanced
I have tested this projector and compared it to the not the cheapest Chinese projectors from Ali Express. Despite being not as bright and not having the built-in android TV, I would rather use this projector than the ones I do have. For the comparison I will use HY300 and HY320 from Magcubic. What caught my attention immediately after turning it on is a pretty decent lens. Despite being a 720p projector, the image is pretty sharp! I did not notice any loss of sharpness on a single corner, like many cheaper projectors are likely to have. The quality of image is even throughout the whole surface. So 720p, but very good 720p. I was puzzled that it is sharper than HY320, about half a much brighter projector with 1080p resolution. In the case of HY320, when set focus to center, it is very sharp there, but even a little to the side, not even a corner, and the image is a blurry mess. This projector has a good lens, I cannot stress this enough! It is a deal breaker! Hands down! Another thing is the system. It has a built- in video player, I really like it. Speaker is OK, but to make it better, play with a simple equalizer to match your taste. The dustproof protection is a real deal, not a single foreign object got sucked inside. I want to underline that the projector turns on very quickly. I was surprised how important that is. I am switching from sitting at the desk to laying on bed, where my projector is. 5 seconds to turn on is a big deal, as you can quickly turn it on and off whenever you like, without waiting 2 minutes like in HY320 case. This saves power. And it's not very loud either! The fan is quieter than many other small projectors. Another word about the system. Because the system is simple, input lag allows me to use it with the computer comfortably. There is little to none delay. The system allows you to change the brightness and contrast, so when the environment is not the night, you can tweak it just a tiny bit to see more. Och and I forgot about the most important thing: the colours. It's not like they are incredibly vivid that your eyes turn into a rainbow or anything. That is not the case when it comes to projectors. The projector is good when you can look at it and your eyes do not hurt. Trust me, hy300 and hy320 are really bad in this case. Hard on the eyes. But this one has not only decently adjusted colors, but also the gamma too! In Chinese projectors, contrast is crazy and the blacks are too black. What should be visible is pitch black. That's a huge problem when watching movies, as most of them are rather darker than brighter. If I were to describe it in one word, that would be "Balance". Everything it does, is at last good. That is my opinion, and as you can see by the length of this review, I am quite into projectors and technical things.

Good for price
For the price you really can't beat it. I got mine 46% off. So it was only 30 bucks, but. It's 1080p It's super easy to connect and focus.. I haven't tried the Bluetooth, but I'm sure it's easy to You can hook up your phone PS4 pc, anything that runs off of an HDMI wire and you can buy an adapter for the HDMI So you can connect your phone. It has an aux in the back. I connected my stereo system to it. It sounds amazing. The fan is not too loud. I highly recommend this product.

Great Picture Quality, Just a Bit Bulky
The GROVIEW projector delivers solid performance with bright, clear 1080p visuals and smooth WiFi/Bluetooth connectivity. It works well for movies, gaming, and streaming, and overall quality feels reliable. The only drawback is that it’s a bit bulky and on the heavier side, which makes it less portable. Still, for the price and performance, it’s a very good projector.

great projector wish it was easier to open up to clean the lenses
its honestly a great projector all in all sadly it does suffer from long term screen burn I have been using it everyday for about 2 and a half years and recently the image burn has gotten worse so I am going to have to buy a new one. but that being said for the price and the fact that I use it everyday as my main computer screen it does out last 90% of the projectors out on the market that I have tested and I have tested a lot. my only wish is that they would make it repairable its almost impossible to pull this projector apart without breaking something to clean the lenses. but that being said again there is about 10 thousand hours on my current one and technically its still fine other than the slowly growing burn ring that's becoming to noticeable for me. but remember that's 2 and a half years running everyday for at least 8 hours a day so take that as you will. I would recommend this projector over even the high end projector. the price is right and the quality is great. now honestly if they went up any higher on the price I would just get a laser projector but until then this is likely the best projector on the market if you intend to use is long term it will last.

Worth it for the price
Picture quality is not bad for the price . Something to consider when purchasing is this projector needs to be closer to the wall to get a clear picture therefore if your space between wall and where will place projector is to far keep that in consideration. Works well for a smaller room where wall distance is not far , would have loved to know this before purchase therefore hoping this helps anyone with their purchase.

Connectivity is not as easy as you think
The projector is small and has decent quality image. The difficulty is in connectivity. We bought this assuming we could easily (Wi-Fi/bluetooth) watch on the projector whatever was on our phone. Maybe I assumed that based off a picture I saw with a phone next to a projector with no cords attached. You need a an adapter that has to be plugged in. The only Bluetooth capability is for audio only, and I haven’t tried that out yet to see if that even works. When you do get the correct adapter for your phone, you cannot watch movies through the apps (Netflix, Hulu, etc) on the phone. The user manual explains that you have to watch movies through a browser. I found it easiest to just stick my FireStick in the HDMI port and access any streaming apps that way. So the projector is decent, but I was just surprised about a few things that were not explained in the description of the product. They are however, explained in the user manual. If I had known about these before purchasing, I would have looked for another projector.

Read through a whole lot of projectors before I zeroed in on this one. Great image quality in the dark.

I used to have a home theater setup about 15 years ago, wasn't really using anymore and got rid of everything when I moved in to my new house! Kind'a gettin' the itch again... but did not want to spend a couple of grand on it. It would be for occasional movie watching in a light controlled basement living room. So I figured based on reviews and several youtube videos I would give this one a try! First of all, manage your expectations!! this is not a 3000$ 4k laser projector, nor does it try to be! I used to have a panasonic PT-AE700 (2500$ back in the day) wich was 1000 lumens and 720p. What you get with this little magic box is amazing... resolution is great and it's really bright in a dark room. Doesn't feel quite as bright as my old projector but the bump in resolution is instantly noticable and the overall image is better. The good: - Only 150$ on special with coupon... OMG!!! Less expensive that a new buld for my old projector!! - Great picture quality, brightness, resoluton and color accuaracy (Mind bogglingly good for the price!!) This rivals projectors in a much higher price range! - Connectivity is good 2xHdmi, 2xUSB, A/V and Bluetooth - Built in speaker is actually usable, pretty lound and sounds ok for poratbility. - Remote control is well made and usefull. - Great brightness up to 100"-120" - Easy and usefull setup menu. The less good: - For absolutely perfect focus, projector lens must be perfectly centered with the screen, there is no throw angle built in. So you must use the manual keystone ajustement, I does work but the more you angle the projector with the screen, the less in focus the top and bottom of the picture will be. So you have to compromise a little bit between sharpness and squareness of the picture. So table top and ceilling mounting will be top/bottom blurry if the throw angle is to strong. More obvious with text and less in a movie. - Fan is definitely audible in quiet situations, but with movie sound you don't hear it. - No optical zoom, so throw distance is fixed! 8'4" for an 80" screen in my setup, you can use digital zoom down to 50% for further distance, but that reduces resolution and overall brightness. - Does not have a 1/4" tripod mount hole, only 4 screw projector mount. (would of been nice) - Very usable in a dimly lighted room, brighter lighting for bright stuff like sporting events is doable! Got a VIVO 80" pull down screen for 100$ on special! Now have a home theater setup for less that 300$ total!! Unbeleivable value!! EDIT: Update 8 months in... Still going strong, I absolutely love this thing. What a great purchase!! EDIT2: It is now being used as my primary TV!! I'm buying a second one for backup, in case this one dies!

Was looking for a projector that was easy to use and was not super expensive. After a lot of looking I settled on this one. I feel the throw length is pretty decent, and I use it for movies as well as game nights. We've played Super Smash Bros. with minimal FPS lagging between the Switch and the screen, and honestly the graphics are pretty sharp. The projector itself is pretty lightweight for its size, and I've never had any issues with using it. The display is really bright as well, and has a decent set of speakers on it, especially if you're using in a smaller room. It has run for several hours on end without any issues. Would recommend!
