VivitarViviCam 12.1 MP Digital Camera, Colors/Styles May Vary

It was a big hit, was a gift to a grandson who took all kinds of pictures.

I realize I only spent $50 or so on this camera, but it was a birthday present for my 5-year old, so I was hoping it would be the perfect "beginner" digital camera for a kid. However, the very first day we used it, the 3 batteries were dead within 4 hours and she hardly used the camera for more than 25 pictures. I replaced the batteries from a brand new pack, thinking maybe one was old, and the brand new set was dead within another 4 hours! She took a total of 35-40 images total and I went through 2 sets of batteries within 8 hours - completely not acceptable. Then, by the end of the day, the camera's screen was showing all the images in monochromatic blue. I looked on her SD card and realized it was actually taking the pictures that way! I returned the camera to Amazon the very day we opened + used it.I would never buy this camera again - it was incredibly cheap, ate up my batteries like nothing and the image quality was below poor. Spend a few more dollars and invest in something nicer.

Easy to use little camera for a great price! The only problem is you can't look at the pictures you have taken until you get home and put the card in the computer. Takes great pictures if the subject stands still!

Not much of a camera buff. Having some trouble understandingdirections. Oh for the good old Polaroid days!
