Good bulgar
I bought this Coarse Bulgar looking to increase my fiber intake and because bulgar is a healthy choice for my kidneys being lower in potassium. Sadaf is a reliable brand and as expected, it tastes fresh and nutty, and texture is a little extra chewy as expected for coarse bulgar. It’s a decent size bag for the money, delivered quickly and has instructions for cooking on the bag. I will be using it as a healthy alternative for all meals.

I've prepared various grains for my family. We've had many different kinds of rice, corn, oat, and kasha to name a few. Bulgur has been a grain I have overlooked making. I found an interesting recipe and decided to serve bulghur one evening. I found it easy to prepare and everyone enjoyed the flavor. My one daughter says she LOVES bulgur has been requesting that it be added frequently to the menu. I am at a complete loss as to why bulgur isn't as popular as rice. I think it cooked up as easy as kasha, and was every bit as hearty, versatile, and flavorful as the other commonly used grains.
