I was shopping for an inexpensive fairing kit for my 2000 Suzuki Hayabusa, but didn't want to wait 2-3 months for one to ship from China. I also have OEM fairings that need repainting, but due to the colder weather now it will take months for me to get around to painting them. When I decide to sell the bike, I'll install the OEM fairings. In the meantime, I'll be able to ride the bike with a decent set of fairings.In my search for fairings, I read many reviews only to learn that quality control on Chinese fairings ranged from very poor to good at best. Finding cracked or broken parts in the shipping container due to poor packaging along with fitment issues seemed to be the number one complaint. Paint quality was another complaint, but in my case was not an issue, I could always repaint and clearcoat the parts. The most important thing to look for is to make sure the fairings are ABS-injected molded. Ask questions, lots of questions.On Amazon, I ran across this fairing set for $500.00 delivered and contacted Jason from NT Fairings. Jason was very prompt in returning my messages and answered all my questions. He assured me if I had any issues with the kit he would replace any broken parts at no additional cost.I ordered the kit and it arrived several days later. Jason has many kits in stock here in the US. The shipping container is very heavy-duty and large. Special care was used in protecting the fairings and parts, especially the tabs.The fairings are thinner and lighter than OEM, but I expected this, and is not an issue for me. I may race this Hayabusa and lighter is always better. There were no decals applied or included with the kit, but I knew this after asking questions. The paint is thin and not perfect, but again was not an issue, I may repaint, apply decals then re-clearcoat. For the price, the paint looks great. Keep in mind that OEM fairings, if you can find them for an older bike, are extremely expensive. Also, keep in mind a professional paint job can cost around $2,000.00. I have test fitted most of the NT Fairings parts and they fit nicely after making adjustments to the front cowl bracket. After a bike has crashed, or even fallen over, the front cowl bracket will bend or be tweaked making alignment of the fairings almost impossible. I believe most fitment complaints of Chinese fairings are due to the cowl bracket being out of alignment. Always take your time aligning the bracket and the kit will fit properly.Always use OEM hardware and fasteners to mount your kit, especially the clip-on barrel nuts. All aftermarket clip-on barrel nuts have a raised metal locking tap that will crack the ABS plastic of the tab. OEM tabs do not have this raised tab and will not crack the plastic tab. OEM clip-on barrel nuts and mounting bolts are not expensive and can be purchased at PartzillaThis kit sold by NT Fairings is a complete kit, including the gas tank cover, and all the smaller unpainted black ABS parts. I am very happy with the fitment, after adjusting the cowl bracket. Another tip is to warm all the plastic parts before installation. I used an electric blanket to warm all the parts before fitting them. There was an issue with the gas tank cover fitment, but there is a solution. On the inside of the tank cover, there is ABS flashing and raised areas from the injection process. I sanded the inside of the tank cover to remove the high spots of ABS material. I still need to do a little more sanding, but this is the cure for any fitment issues.As I stated earlier, I have only test fit the fairings. Great product. Purchased for my 2006 Busa. Had some issues with decals but I notified seller and he was able to correct issue within a week. Plastic is about the same as OEM. Fairings were packed well.

I do not recommend this merchant. Items are not as described. My order was delivered defective and had missing parts. Merchant is hiding behind lies to try and keep my refund. Order was returned the same way I received it. Ie that’s why I returned it…. Didn’t fit snug, defective, scratched, horrible paint job, and missing parts. Save your time and money.
