Good first experience
I decided to try making a balm for gua sha instead of paying $20-$30 for just a few ounces. This was my first time using beeswax for anything, and I was a bit confused why the shea butter and coconut oil were melting, but the beeswax wasn't. It took some patience, but when it finally melted, everything worked out very well.

Does not add color
I use this to make cutting board butter. One part bees wax to four parts mineral oil. Melts completely. I got the white wax because it does not add color to the piece. Produces a beautiful, soft finish.

Perfect for Wax Melts project
This is my favorite product to use for handmade wax melts. The product is easy to use and heat. No chemical smell like I have found with others. Even perfect melting blending with both candle dye and fragrances. I have used others and return back to this product over and over again. This is my go-to and will definitely use for all my future projects.

very good for making an odorless food-safe wood finish
I'm using this beeswax as a component for a food-safe finish on some wooden bread trays (3 parts by weight food/laxative grade mineral oil with 1 part beeswax, heated until the beeswax dissolves; when cool, becomes a very soft paste for rubbing into wood). Obviously, you don't want any of your components in the finish to have an objectionable odor. When I opened the bag, and stuck my nose inside, I smelled absolutely nothing at all, which is perfect. And, when the beeswax was dissolved (using heat, ~180 F) in the mineral oil, the paste that resulted on cooling was completely white/colorless and odorless. While the beeswax bag doesn't specifically say "food grade," and I haven't done a chemical analysis on it, it's obviously high purity, and I have no concerns about the safety of the resulting finish (which gave a slight deepening of the color of the wood, with some yellowing).

I like this product
The media could not be loaded. So far, I really like this Beeswax Pellets because for a cheap price you can have a pound of it. I always make my chopsticks from scratch, and this can provide me with a lot of chopsticks for a fraction of the price in the retail store. I make my chopsticks with beeswax, coconut oil, and shear butter. Furthermore, the pellets are yellow, but it will turn clear when melted so rest assure it will not be yellow. I also like the small pellets because you can easily measure them.I was reading other people’s reviews and found out that the smell was bothering them. For me, when I opened the package, I didn’t smell anything burnt or weird. It smells like real honey/candle for me.
