Q: is this a trigger lubricant

I use it on mine. Not as thick as some but stays put alright

While this is a great lube for the bolt and carrier assembly of the AR I would not reccomend it for the barrel nut. The mil-spec for a standard barrel nut is Aeroshell 33ms grease.

Q: Anyone use this for machine tools like drill chucks?

This is such a "Premium" thin grease, for slides and working parts on guns..in my opinion, it would be extravagant and costly for use on drill chucks.

This works great in all my guns. It is perfect for a 1911. It doesn't take much and it lasts longer than just oil.
