Best option for rod pocket curtains
But they’re still slightly wonky. For rod pocket drapes, this wand hangs by a ring on the rod in front of the drape and attaches to the drapes with a clip which pulls it along behind the ring. This is probably the best option, but when it gets to the center support (or the opposite drape), it leaves a gap between the drapes. It’s not a huge deal for us as the drape can then be pulled the rest of the way by hand, but if your situation would not allow for that, you might want to keep looking.Aesthetically, though, we love these wands; they’re substantial but disappear because they’re clear acrylic.

Perfect Solution. Great Product.
I installed two double-width, so-called blackout, patio panels with two Thermalogic Ultimate Window Liners (true blackout and available on Amazon) behind each panel. The curtain panels came with very short, flimsy, drapery wands. There was no way those little bendy wands were going to move double-width panels plus blackout liners. I replaced them with these sturdy, 34-inch wands. With the provided ring and two types of attached clips, it was easy to install the wand so the curtain panels and liners move as one, and the wand stays hidden. Really glad I found and purchased these!

Works beautifully, but make sure your curtain rod will fit through the circle ring
These wands are beautiful, practical and almost perfect.1. The rings which are supposed to fit over the curtain rods, to slide along, didn't (on these particular curtain rods). Just make sure that the curtain rods you are using are small enough. As an alternative, because I loved the look of these wands, I found little rings to sew to the back of my curtains, then clipped the wand to the ring. It works beautifully. (See photos below.)2. The wands are pretty heavy, comparatively. Because my husband is physically limited (the reason I bought these wands), I tried putting them closer to the edge of the curtains. The weight of the wands dragged the edge down. This is why, when I added the rings, I sewed them directly below the metal grommet for support.I know this sounds as if I'm not happy with these wands. Not true. It just took a little adjusting to make it work for me, since my curtain rods were a little too big. The curtain is so much easier to glide along the curtain rod, now; much easier for my husband without being a physical strain.

It's the thing you didn't know you needed until you found it
Had new windows installed in my home office since it's now more or less my permanent office. Windows face East which means for a few hours in the morning on sunny days - BAM! Sunlight right in my face. I'll buy blinds or curtains - no problem. But the desk is in front of the window so how would I be able to open and close them without having to somehow reach over the desk? I know that fancy drapes and drapery rods have the pulls and tracks but I just have the pocket curtain rods. I started wondering if there was some kind of rod you could attach to the curtains directly to allow you to push and pull them back and forth. After some random searching, I came across these. Perfect and just what I needed. The loops fits on the curtain rod and clips to the curtain, allowing you pull the curtains open and closed from a good distance. Works really well for light curtains but could be an issue with heavy drapes. Might buy another set for the living room so I don't have to climb on the sofa to open those curtains.

These are perfect for drawing the curtains in my living room where a sofa table behind the couch makes for an awkward stretch to open and close. These are easy to install, I like that they are clear and the clips are strong so I'm not concerned about them slipping off the material when I pull them along. Very happy.

Doesn't work like photos and wand bends, making it hard to pull drapes
Looks nice but hardware doesn't work like photos: there is a very small clip on the ring that is much too small to clip onto the drapery fabric, and certainly too small to grab the grommet as shown in installation photos. I thought about adding a carabiner to the ring that would be large enough to grab the top part of the drapery above the grommet so that the wand actually connects to the drapery, rather than just hang on the rod beside a grommet. However, since the wand itself is flexible, it bends too much, making it difficult to pull the drapes open. Consequently, I'm just returning it.

Could be improved
It does not work as well on drapes with the big built in rings as I would like but maybe it is the best option. You cannot get the drape all the way back. Be careful to make sure it does not have an opportunity to drop to the floor. One of mine did and it snapped off at the top. They look good.

Great handle for patio curtain
Wish only one came in a package as I don't know what to do with the other one. It went on well to the curtain rod. Moves the curtain back and forth with ease.
