This is the second time I have bought Sayan chaga-the first time on another site. Both times the package arrived amazingly quickly. I was a little dubious about this extract since it is strictly a hot water extract, freeze dried, but I have been very very happy with it. It is lovely stuff, makes a very dark, rich brew that is soothing to the stomach and makes you feel good. I think it will be a permanent addition to my collection of helpful teas. That said, I think you will not notice any great improvement until you have been using it for a while, but Sayan's literature makes that clear. And that's okay. I mention this only for those who might be expecting a big hit from it. But over the longer haul I think it makes a real improvement. I wish Sayan sold this in 1 pound packages--you jump from 4 ozs packages to 1 kg. package. Although the 1 kg. package does save you about $100 if you plan to use this lovely tea/coffee additive, it is still a shock to this system to shell out $300 for it. $150 I could more easily justify. Anyway, try it, it's very nice.Update 3/16/2017: (about a month later) This stuff really is MARVELOUS! It's soothing to the joints, and to the digestion, and what really surprised me, is how good it is for your BRAIN. If you tend toward low moods, or anxiety, as I do, I find that this chaga will raise the floor on your mood and outlook-and it feels like a very solid floor, it's not a transient feeling. And goodby, brain fog. I really love this stuff.

Chaga extract is amazing. I've had friends say that chaga needs to go thru some special processing involving alcohol extraction but I am finding the benefits and health improvements thru this product are amazing. I notice my skin tone is improving and changing, my energy is much improved, and my breathing has improved. I can sleep better with it. This is only after using it for about a month. I built up to a teaspoon a day at this point in time. It suggests building up to 1-2 teaspoons depending on health needs and issues and then going to 1/2 teaspoon as the maintenance. Since I have lung problems it will be awhile before I see myself going to the maintenance level. This stuff has helped to reduce the amount of inhaler I use. Winter has started to come and I usually start feeling less than my best via the lung problems, but so far this stuff seems to be helping me to hold my own.I would suggest to anyone thinking about using it, to go to the website that sells this and read their FAQ. It is very helpful. One thing I do suggest is: do not mix this with coffee. Some people do it seems. The package and website say don't. You drink this on empty stomach and then wait a half hour to eat or drink something else. I do this in the morning and that works fine. I put it in a glass of hot water and let it "steep" a little and then drink it. It can be in hot or cold water, though I think hot water is better tasting. It does taste strong at the one teaspoon level so the website suggests adding something to it to help the taste. I drink it straight so I am fine. It looks and tastes like coffee but it definitely is not. It could replace coffee for some people I suppose. I highly recommend this for anyone who just wants to feel better and to have better control of their health and life.

It is worth at least ten times the price.UPDATE ON JULY 20, 2016I had planned to do an update much earlier but a physical injury sidetracked that plan.My wife has continued to take chaga as a tea on a daily basis for about 6 months. She noticed an immediate positive effect on day one. Her FMS affected very tense muscles relaxed and her breathing improved. At about the middle of the 4th month a problem with severe fluid retention in her lower legs and feet began to move in a positive direction. She had been in a wheel chair but she began walk more and more. The fluid retention problem is now history. (Four different doctors failed but chaga succeeded.) Now she is going full speed ahead! She drives, she shops, she cooks she cleans house including heavy cleaning and she has put the wheel chair away! YES! CHAGA REALLY IS A SILVER BULLET!!! It is helping me improve my digestive system.If you want an excellent daily drink other than coffee or caffeneited tea try mixing 1/3 tsp in about 8 to 10 oz of hot water. If you sweeten it with a quality raw honey it becomes very soothing and satisfying.Love it and plan to keep it in my diet long term.

I started the product appx. 1 week ago and i took 2 hours before bedtime. Not a good move I couldn't sleep all night and had this incredible energy. I haven't been taking it faithfully to see if I would continue to have same effect. It tastes somewhat like coffee and looks like ground coffee but with a very mild taste.(somewhat of an acquired taste)..you taste more the water than the actual ground mixture of chaga. In all it seems like a good product.

Delivery is fine and I like the taste! I put 1/8th tsp in my cup then a tea bag add hot water let steep cream and enjoy! I use for 21 days and off for 7 days!
