Accu-chek Guide Test Strips (Pack of 2)

I have been using these test strips since February 2019 for my diabetic cat. I usually buy them from the drugstore but wanted to go with a cheaper price so found them on here. There was something wrong with the test strips. It was almost like there was a waxy coating on the end and the blood would not sit on the test strip. I had to get a significant amount to blood from my poor cat and it had to cover it completely. On average it took about seven test strips for one to work. I just went through all 50 test strips in a couple days because my cat is having major issues with his blood glucose and I have been testing him a lot. I went to Walgreens yesterday and bought a new package and they work exactly the way every other box of Accu check strips I've purchased work. I love this brand of test strips because you barely need any blood and it immediately registers it. But for some reason the ones from this buyer were not the regular quality. I have sent an email and haven't heard back yet. And I will contact Accu-Chek with the box details to see if there was an issue from the manufacturer. The test strips were not expired so that was not the issue.

Advertised 50 count two PAC. Only received one pack. Company does not make it right very hard to deal with.

Hello, These 2 boxes of test strips arrived earlier than expected so that’s good but I’m curious about a few things. 1. Why are the expiration dates 11/4/22 and 8/1/23 so far apart? They weren’t from the same batch? Where did they come from? 2. Both boxes were sealed with packing tape. Why? If they had never been opened the original seal should still be intact. Now it’s impossible to tell because the original seal was compromised when the tape was ripped off. Is it worrisome? I don’t think so but just wanted folks to be aware.

I ordered these test strips for my husband. This item, which is the name brand, comes with 2 containers with 50 test strips in each container. The expiration date on the strips are dated far out. The price is very competitive among those on Amazon.

Approximately 50 percent of them failed, so the product is effectively twice more expensive. I do not recommend and will not buy them from amazon anymore (i did not have such issues when bought the same strips directly from the vendor or pharmacies)
