A30 Desktop Stereo HiFi Audio Power Amplifier & Headphone Amplifier, Infineon's MA12070 Chip Class D Amp, ES9023 DAC Chip, USB/Optical/Coaxial/RCA/Bluetooth 5.0 Input (with Remote Control)

I am quite an experienced audiophile but do not believe in spending a lot for high end equipment. The budget and mid-range represents much better value proposition for me. I had previously used a Topping A30/D30 stack as well as a JDS Labs Atom stack. I also have a THX-AAA linear amp from Drop. However, in an effort to reduce my cable clutter, I gave this a try. It is remarkably clean, with little distortion, and can drive most of my headphones including my Sennheiser HD 58X, Hifiman HE4xx, Beyerdynamic DT770 80 oh, and Beyerdynamic DT1990 fairly easily. However for higher impedance headphones, i can see where these may struggle in terms of power. With the 250ohm DT1990's i have to turn the volume knob about 80% full. However this is a great device with a nifty screen, adjustable EQ with presets and it has Bluetooth + speaker and subwoofer outputs to boot. Highly recommended.
