I have a 2009 Audi S5 - with Audi Symphony, but was unsure if I had the 2G or 3G system. I checked out some YouTube videos, but nothing very helpful in determining which system. I reached out to Invery to make sure I ordered the right one. They were very responsive and recommended the 300A after I sent photos of my system and connection point. That seems to mean I have the 3G system. The set up is easy if you follow the directions word for word. I used the iPod mode first for my iPhone to play Pandora and it would skip to podcasts when I hit next song from the steering wheel. If you want to best control Pandora from the center console press the control button and only use that display. That works for both iPod and General mode on the adapter. If you want to use the steering wheel to switch songs I found I had to switch the adapter to General mode and when I hit next song - it stayed on Pandora.Sound quality is great. Some people say it is quiet. Just turn up the sound on your phone and not your sound system. When you do that it, it is a normal volume and you won’t risk blowing your speakers out.

My Audi didn’t have Bluetooth and this was an extremely easy install. It connects ridiculously quick compared to older Bluetooth generation, and it’s range is also very impressive. My only complain I have is the Bluetooth remains on when the car is turned off, and due to the long range my phone automatically connects to my car parked in the garage constantly from inside my house. I have to constantly connect and disconnect the Bluetooth from the iPod connector. Regardless of that I still recommend this product for anyone with a Audi who wants Bluetooth for its simplicity to install and great Bluetooth performance.

Bought for a 2011 GL450, plugged it in and connected right away. Just like it came with the vehicle. Works excellent. Paired to a Android. Definitely worth the $. No hassles!
