Great for pizza, not so much as a griddle
I bought this hoping I could use it on top of my stove as a griddle. The bottom is not flat. Nothing I can't fix with some time and sandpaper, but it was still disappointing. If you're going to use it as a pizza pan, I'm sure it is fine. It is pre-seasoned, but the casting is pretty rough. I plan on sanding that part as well.

I used it for pizza last night and it worked so much better than my ceramic stone
Before using my pan for pizza I seasoned it and used it for eggs, toast, sandwiches, etc. I wanted to make sure to break it in properly before using it for what it was intended. I used it for pizza last night and it worked so much better than my ceramic stone. It retains the heat much better which translates to cooking a faster pizza with nice crust. I can't wait for my ceramic stone to break so I can get another one. I cook my pizzas right on the BBQ on medium heat. The pizza turned out awesome, my friends were impressed about the taste and the looks of our pizzas, must buy!! Look no further folks

Cast iron equals a heavy pan
I found this item to be way too heavy for me to use. Even without food on it it was hard to lift. Don't recommend this for people who cannot lift real heavy things. It was not returnable even unused so we will give it to someone locally.

Solid pan
This pan does its job well. The only problem I have with it is I prefer a slightly smoother cast iron pan, but it is a very minor complaint.

I've only used it for pizza once and it turned out great with a crispy bottom crust (I oiled it, of course, to achieve that crispy texture) and it's a perfect size for a larger batch of biscuits, which I make often. It's not too large as to be difficult to maneuver and cleans up easily. Good price and I know I'll use it for the rest of my cooking life! Indestructible when cared for properly.

Great, as advertised!
Very versatile, have used it for the best pizza I have ever made at home, creates an excellent crust. Also used it to cook duck bacon. The even and lasting heat will be utilized for many dishes in the future.

First use of my pizza pan
This is my first review, I made pizza with mozarrella cheese and salami, it was very good except for the temperature which I had set the oven at 500 degrees. This was way too hot. The next time I will try 425 or 450.

Smoked up my kitchen and oven
This pan has very rough surface and not like my grandmother's smooth cast iron pan. I followed the instructions to season the pan by brushing it with a light layer of vegetable oil and putting it in a 350 oven on a rack. Six minutes later my oven and kitchen were filled with black toxic smoke caused me to cough and my eyes to water. The smell which now lingers in my kitchen and oven. Returning this made in China pan
