Works good
Used this motor to replace a motor that would have cost over $1000 for a full sized milling machine I bought, used the crap out of it and still running strong after a year using a variable phase drive.

Used with VFD on a drill press
Used this on my 20” drill press with a VFD so I could have variable speed easier. So far I’m very happy with it.

Nice motor for ventilation fan
Installed these motors on our ventilation system with VFD drives to be able to control speed and reverse when needed. Nice motors. "If you are not familiar with motor controls and or VFD drives Please seek out the help of a qualified electrician."

bad imballance
The motor has such a bad imbalance it's not usable as is. During bench testing the thing tries to run away and you can feel the imbalance in my 650 pound machine.. I pulled the rotor and found the bearings to be pretty small but easily serviced and cheap to do WHEN needed. The rotor imballance is so bad when held by the bearings in hand (with the rotor removed) and spun by hand I can definitively feel it. It has to be several ounces out of balance and I'm not even sure how that's possible on a two horse motor. There are no balancing marks on the rotor but I did not expect to find any. The imbalance was experienced with no pulley on the shaft both with and without the keyway in place. Not counting the time the machine will be down by the time I get this rotor balanced I'll be into it for more money than what it would've cost if I bought a namebrand reputable motor in the first place and I'll still have a piece of junk... for the most part I knew what I was getting into at this price point for a motor but this thing in my opinion borderlines on dangerously out of balance. do yourself a favor and don't be a cheapskate like, buy once and cry once. or via Motor with hand grinding marks on the shaft to fit a fan and actually pay more in the not long run. seriously, get out of here and go buy real motor as I will be doing on Monday....

Compre el motor desde agosto para un proyecto, confiando que enviarían uno que sí funcionara, lo acabo de probar y no funciona. ¿Me lo podrían cambiar?
