Severe long term constipation due to many reasons, this has been added to a litany of aids. It works within the parameters set according to the directions. Keep in mind, I sold natural herbs for many, many years. The reason I bought this is the contents, when aged it works better.I like how gentle it is. At 55, it is very important to use care and understand my medicines and herbal mixtures. I ALWAYS ask my doctor (who knows about herbal cures as well as Eastern and Western medicines) if adding something is advisable. I always talk to my favorite pharmacist as well. Prior to him, a woman pharmacist would work at home to make sure I would be safe!Healing is about community. You get it from family, friends, strangers, dreams, your own intuition and the medical community.
