Professional Review
I actually love this product once you understand it. I was a freelance Food Writer for the SF Chronicle and critic. I've been a professional chef for 29 years now. I initially ordered a similar product but the driver had reported as the product had been personally signed for by my office management: my office management has disallowed packages received due to the Virus. I purchased these instead and I'm thrilled. I want to address the issues other reviewers have left one by one: wash them in the upper tray of your dishwasher to avoid the "neoprene" flavor, first...you don't have to fill them from half to two-thirds. I fill mine completely and twist them just as you would the old-school ice trays, but the main thing people seem to have difficulties with is popping them out of the silicon tray: run the bottom of the trays with hot tap water for a minute and they will each (one-by-one). pop right out. They make gorgeous and perfect cubes. LOVE THEM>

Poor Chemical Taste
The ice cubes start to taste of a chemical or plastic flavor after they start to melt in your drink. I have tried washing the trays multiple times but this does not solve the issue.

Simple solution with great feature
I love the lid! Silicon construction all around makes it easy to clean and pop out cubes.I make spinach/kale cubes so I can grab a few when making a smoothie. They are the perfect size and having a lid makes staking easy and makes sure they don't spill in the freezer. The lid is one of the best features!I may buy more... great to have for meal prep.

Better than those long old school plastic ice cube trays
With long old school plastic ice cube trays, you need room in the freezer to accommodate the length of the tray. Then when it freezes, it's a challenge getting just a few cubes out without tipping the entire tray out or shimmying your fingernail along side of a cube to pry it out. These small footprint silicone trays take up significantly less space and because they have lids, they are stackable and air tight from freezer burn and trading flavors with other foods in the freezer like bell peppers. When I have excess amounts of tomato sauce, broth, coconut milk left over, I like to freeze them into cubes and then put the cubes into freezer bags and take out only what I need. Even if you wanted to keep the cubes in the trays, removing only one or two is very easy just by poking the bottom of the silicone tray to pop out that single cube. Love these.

Ended up in the trash 3 months later
Update: 3 months later I threw these trays out. They had a strong chemical smell to them. That smell transferred as a chemical taste to the ice. I used these every day since I had them.Makes ice. If you over fill the cubes, you’re only hurting yourself. If I over fill the tray my fingers freeze/burn removing cubes. Fill correctly, they pop out easily after running under warm water.

Large cubes
These ice cube trays require a bit of patience, but they basically work well. The key is to not fill them fuller than 3/4. The lids need are a little tricky to put on but they are worth it if you want trays with lids. I've had others that were not as functional. Pushing the cubes up from the bottom is the easiest way to get them out. The trays are very pliable and can be bent to help with cube removal.

Almost Perfect!
I purchased these to freeze herbs from my garden. The "cubes" are the perfect size and they are easy to remove. It makes it much easier to freeze them with my vacuum sealer when they are square and not slanted or odd "ice cube" sizes. I do wish the lid was easier to put on. Because it's silicone, it keeps popping up when I try to seal it. I have to do this three or four times before I can get it to stay on. Otherwise, it's a great purchase and I will buy more when I need them.

Best Ice Cube Tray!
The pretty blue silicone niceCubetray is convenient for my use. I freeze ahead fresh squeezed lemon juice into my niceCube Tray so I can easily remove and melt one cube into my first glass of water for my my daily dose of lemon juice. The easy release of the sticky frozen lemon juice is appreciated. The covered tray eliminates freezer "stuff" getting into my juice cubes. Perfect item for my purpose!
