but so far so good.
The grass seed I received was clean of dirt and other debris. It is a small seed, even for a grass. The seed was as expected. I finally planted it and will see how well it germinates. I spread a thin layer of grass clippings over the area where I planted to keep the creeping bentgrass seed protected and moist. I will update this review once it germinates, but so far so good.

Nice but slooooow to come up
In Ohio, this grass may not be ideal: it comes up, but grows very slowly and I have weeds taking hold because of it. Our weeds tend to come up quickly in Spring and so grass sowed in March needs to come in at a reasonable speed. I am used to Fescue, which is must faster. I can't use weed killer yet, because the new grass is still too short too mow. But I have to say that a very high percentage of the seed is coming up. Will update in another week or two OK so it is now early July and the grass is just about mow height now. Looks a little more pale than typical grass, but dense, soft to the touch and healthy.I'll update my rating

on my third section same site on my first try same I noticed seeds germinate easily after 5 days
With right soil preparation the seeds germinate in 5 days on my first try , my second try was not successful , probably I used different compost and the site place had no shade. I guess the seed will not germinate when too much exposure of sun ..on my third section same site on my first try same I noticed seeds germinate easily after 5 days.. But I experienced some fungicide. Problem ..it seems it's copper spot .any suggestion for improving my seeding on our lawn

I would not waste my money on this grass seed ever again
When the package arrived, I was surprised how much filler was in this package of grass seed. It was only 50% grass seed. Not only was the grass seed expensive for what you get, but I planted the seeds about 2 months ago and none of the grass sprouted. I would not waste my money on this grass seed ever again.

Not germinating
This product came from Florida which is not noted for favorable bent grass conditions. I tested some in a small area, without any sign of germination. I question as to the validity of use of the Penncross name with this product.

Penncross Creeping Bent Grass
We overseeded with Penncross Creeping Bent Grass 4 weeks ago and is coming along just fine. I'm not a fan of bent grass but that is what was here when we arrived and did not want to replace the entire lawn. It has to be mixed with something to spread it because the seeds are so incredibly small. We used play sand and it worked great.

grass carpet developing.
North TX location, we spot planted around and in between our newly laid flagstone walkway. we have had an unusually cool and very wet spring, but this grass is already germinating and is looking like a carpet.hint, mix with a good quality dry sand in your seeder and we also mixed sand in the bed of our heavy dark clay soil, it worked like a charm.

I'm disappointed either way
I don't know if I planted this too late in the fall or if the seeds just didn't germinate, I'm disappointed either way, I'll try again in the spring and then I'll update this review
