Q: Can it be mounted on the wall?

Of course, it can be perfectly mounted and very stable. And very easy to install, just one minute needed.

Q: Can I purchase just the wall adhesive? Mine is coming off the wall

Not sure if this brand has replacement adhesive, but I know there are other brands on Amazon that do. Do a search for replacement adhesive for shower caddy. Most range between $6-$8 and have enough to replace them several times if needed.
