Old Spice Lather Shaving Cream Fresh Lime -70g

This looks like tooth paste tube, but mix a dab with a brush dampened in hot water, and it'll turn into a luxurious, slick and thick shaving lather. The scent is very nice and shaving performance top notch. Given the low price and excellent performance, I don't think I can go back to the canned stuff, when this is so great.Look up the wet shave forums and you'll see this being recommend over and over again.If you wet shave, give this a try, you'll like it!

This shaving soap by Old Spice uses the classic lime fragrance that was so popular as an aftershave lotion decades ago. Being from the old school, I use a German made straight razor for shaving. As I have soft water, it only takes a small dab of this shave soap to generate a nice and robust lather on my shave brush. And it lasts long enough to do three shaving passes. My only wish is that I could find Old Spice lime aftershave to complete the morning shave. I do highly recommend Proraso aftershave with menthol as it is a great fragrance and makes your face feel great after a nice straight razor shave!

I am a razor and shaving cream switcher -- always looking for something different to try. I trust P&G to have product that is well-fitted to the consumer. I like the amount of texture better than Cremo: Cremo makes my razor handle slippery. I like the consistency better than Truefitt and Hill: Truefitt and Hill TUB product dries out on face and have to re-apply water. Truefitt&Hill TUBE product is 3x more expensive.LIKES:* P&G products are always high quality* dilutes easily with water do it doesn't clog razor as much as other pastes* rinses well*no irritation from the productDISLIKES:* scent is too light for me* tube feels small and thin so it feels like it's expensive and I should not use too muchNEXT:* I will look on Amazon World Wide to see if P&G has more products like this in other countries and try those.* If they don't, I will look for discounts on Truefitt & Hill. My husband requested Old Spice as a gift for our anniversary so I bought this and the cologne. The cologne is on the way. The shaving cream came and he couldn't wait to use it!! It gave him the closest shave ever....his face was as soft as a babys bottom and he loves the smell!

Lathers well and smells excellent. Doesn’t have that cheap chemical smell other shaving creams have.

Overall I really like the product. It lathers really nice and I like the scent, but as others have mentioned there really isn’t any lime scent. I wish I had the original to compare it to. If I order again I will probably I will probably just get the original. Also not that it matters, but it only has a 36 month shelf life. Mine was manufactured in 2/2021 so it “expires” in 2/2024. I doubt it’s a huge issue as there are plenty of YouTubers using vintage shaving cream without any issues. I’m sure there is less demand thus it sits on a shelf longer, but still something to think about.
