Gia Mia Dance Girls' Big Dance Short

I originally ordered these for my 9 year-old to wear under dresses and skirts for modesty. She is currently wearing size 10-12 in other shorts. They did not fit her or were too uncomfortable for her to handle (she said they rode up and were too tight). My 10 year-old then commandeered them for herself. She's wearing between a size 7-8 and 10-12 at the moment and loves them to wear under dresses and skirts.

Tight fit. They work but are a bit on the small side. They are also a bit satin-y so if you have something going over them then they might slide around. My daughter slipped on a pair of jeans over them and her jeans kept sliding down because of how silky the shorts were. Overall they work fine. She got them for under her dresses while she is performing at school.

These are great shorts, and my daughter loves them, but they tend to ride up a bit. I bought her this, a matching blue tee and a blue tutu because she loves blue and ballerinas lol. With the tutu on, it looked like she was just wearing underwear under it. It was just for her birthday party, and no one said anything, but would be nice if we could have kept them in place.

A little small and kind of see through

My daughter loved this color! She wears a 6x but these are small. Here is a picture next to a Target small short. You can totally see the difference in size.

Very cute. Bought them for a hip hop dance class but they were too small. I was the size l have been buying but these we not even close.

A little shorter than what I expected, but overall they fit correctly and will work for the purpose in which they are needed.

ordered a large - my 8 year old loves them -- she is tall for her age and has a toned dancer body. if you have a 'little bit' dancer order a size down, because these just fit a little loose and she will definitely fit in them for a while
