Salcombe Gin Start Point Classic London Dry, 50cl

Put simply, this is my favourite gin and I must have tried a couple of hundred. Only Harris gin comes close.It's a proper gin but with coastal notes that transport you to holiday by the sea. That balance is perfect here and something many gin try and fail to do (at least to my taste buds).It's expensive but worth it.

Taste is so personal of course but we visited the actually distillery in Salcombe a couple of years back and fell in love with the taste of ‘Start Point’ whilst there, drinking with good friends.It’s a smart looking bottle, definitely a nice gift that comes in good packaging. This is thankfully not a sweet gin - just a nicely balanced aromatic blend that I now associate with the sea!

I like this gin, it's definitely too my taste. At £40 per bottle I wouldn't buy it again though as there are plenty of other great guns in the £20-£25 range.

You cannot beat plain straightforward quality gin and the Salcombe gin fits the bill very nicely.Highly recommended

Excellent gin, a real taste of south Devon. Not too heavily scented or perfumed. A little pricey compared to other leading brands but you pay for what you get. Heaven in a glass they say...and it is.

This gin is vary tasty and goes down a treat. Will be ordering again.

This was purchased at £32 - which is a great find. I did the salcombe gin tasting day Where I fell in love with the good stuff. Just for reference - I also loved the Tarquins sea dog, which is equally as nice but both different.
