This is the second test I have ordered from LetsGetChecked. My experience with the first test was positive. It was easy to collect the necessary sample, send it in, and I received the results within several days and was able to view everything online. So based on that experience I trust this company. I ordered this particular test for my wife. She was afraid that she has an infection. But with the help of this test, she was able to verify that she was fine. This was much easier than going to a doctor's office. For many people, having tests done this way can be cheaper and much more convenient than visiting a doctor. But if you have an urgent or severe problem, you should still visit a doctor or hospital since the turnaround time on a test like this is at least a week.

Test kit was expired when I attempted to activate it. UPDATE I was sent a replacement but after getting my test results the seller said that medication and consultation was no longer included in price. Believe it or not, this included purchases made when meds and consult were supposed to be included! They don't even offer an excuse. They just say it'll be $39 for access to clinicians and to write a scrip for meds which I then am supposed to pay for.

I suffer from a very sensitive vaginal pH. I frequently get off balance and end up with BV. This home test is a neat idea, but it does have some notable drawbacks. For one, the price is very high. It’s cheaper to just run to the minute clinic and pay for the visit out of pocket. Additionally, you don’t get your results right away with this kit. You have to send this test in the mail and wait a few days. There is no way I could put off treating BV for the time it takes to get the confirmation that I have BV. If you’ve had BV before, then you know. The smell is unreal and needs to be addressed immediately. Same goes for the other conditions that this kit tests for. Those are things that need to be treated asap. So next time I have BV, I’ll definitely try this test out…but I will be starting treatment as soon as I’m done swabbing the area. Note: the treatment for BV can be done at home with OTC boric acid suppositories. All this being said, if you’re just feeling off down there and want to confirm that you don’t have any of these things going on without going into a doctors office, then this test is for you. But if it is something uncomfortable and urgent, go see a medical professional in person right away.

It is always wisest to contact your physician first before trying any mail order test. This is the third Let’s Get Checked At Home test I have tried, and I had a good and easy experience with the first two, so I am hopeful this one will be just as easy.A few times a year I tend to get some sort of infection or UTI. So while I do not currently have one I am glad that I will have this on hand for when i do.Obviously this is going to take a few days. You have to either buy the test and wait for it to get to your house, then take the samples, then mail it out, then wait for the results to come in. While it does include expedited shipping, it’s still going to be a few days. But a huge plus of this is that if you need medication they will actually send you the medication free of charge along with the results!As I currently do not need this I am saving it for when I do and will be sure to update when that happens. But considering my first two experiences with this company we’re easy and quick I have the upmost confidence.

So I got this with the intention of having it available when I need it. I'm hitting menopause and with that comes biological changes that make me more susceptible to BVs.The problem with that is how quickly these kits expire. I ordered this on 2/16, received it 2/18 and it expired 3/1. So perhaps the intention was that you shouldn't order this until you have symptoms? However if you have symptoms, you have to buy it on Amazon, wait two days to receive it, take the test, ship it back and wait a couple days for results. That's a lot of waiting to get relief. For the price of the kit, you might as well just go to your local practitioner and get relief that day.I'm additionally disappointed because it was not made clear how quickly the kits expired until it was too late.I would not recommend this.
