nicelucky mug warmer has great features
Received this nicelucky Coffee Mug Warmer Jan. 25, 2022 and so far I love it.I sit at my home office desk working on my computer for several hours every day. I'd had a standard mug warmer (manual on/off switch) on my desk for years that was showing its age so I started looking into replacing it. I found several mug warmers on the Amazon site that seemed promising and this was one of the ones I chose. (I ordered a different one to use in my kitchen.) I'm accustomed to having a cup of tea after each meal and I nurse each cup. I'd bring my after-breakfast and after-lunch cups of tea (and sometimes the after-dinner cup as well) to my desk and sip on it periodically as I worked.I've become more absent-minded of late and on more than one occasion I've forgotten to shut off the mug warmer in my kitchen when I brought my cup of tea upstairs to my office. Sometimes it remained on overnight -- a big waste of electricity and a possible fire hazard. So when I was searching for a new mug warmer for my desk and found many options with an auto shut-off feature, I decided to get a new mug warmer for both my office and my kitchen.I'm using this nicelucky mug warmer at my desk. I like its smooth, flat surface. I like having temperature setting options. I like that it keeps my tea warm/hot for as long as it takes me to finish the cup. I like that it automatically shuts off when the mug is removed from it and turns on again when the mug is put back on top of it. And I'm reassured by it having the feature of automatically shutting off after 4 hours (though I haven't yet had occasion to try out that feature): I should no longer have to be concerned about the mug warmer staying on overnight because I forgot to turn it off.I've only had this nicelucky mug warmer for a couple of months so I don't know about its durability. That's the only reason I've rated it 4 stars rather than 5.I highly recommend the nicelucky mug warmer.

don’t like automatic shut-off
Good warmer but I didn’t realize its automatic shut-off feature was weight-dependent.An object must be sitting on the warmer for it to operate and the object must be heavy enough to make it operate. I prefer a warmer that always stays on so it keeps hot even when I step away with my mug for a few minutes. I returned this.If you don’t mind the off and on every time you pick up and set down your mug then this will probably work fine for you.

works as advertised
Works well maintains drinks at denoted temperatures and safely switches off if left unattended for a long period. My only negative comment is that the glass top is fragile. my warmer was knocked off a coffee table onto a wood floor by one of my cats and the top shattered. this is not a manufactures fault but just a warning as to the fragility. I think it could be improved if the top were encased within the base rather than overlapping the edges of the base

LOVE IT!
My 1st cup of coffee is never warm enough because the minute it’s done brewing I pour a cup, so it has no time to sit on the hot plate, this little mug warmer works great ~keeps my coffee, hot right down to the bottom. The cord is plenty long enough for my needs, it all works! ☕️

Works well with some tweaks
I love using my large collection of cute, seasonal coffee cups, but I hate microwaving my coffee five times. So I thought I would give this gadget a whirl. It works well with some limitations.First, I will say that it definitely had a burning plastic smell going on the first four or five times I used it. So be prepared for that.Second, I’ve discovered that if you put a very large tall coffee mug on it, it doesn’t do a great job of evenly keeping that coffee warm. The plate takes a little while to warm up and it allows your coffee to cool down while it’s doing that.Third, I use this on my wooden desk, and when I’m done using it my desk feels hot underneath it. So I put a tile coaster underneath it to protect my desk.Fourth, as you can see in my picture this is how I’ve come to use this heater the most. I put my entire mini coffee pot on the warmer, and just pour little half cups of coffee as I want to drink some. The wide flat bottom of the coffee pot allows for more even heating. With a big tall mug what you get is overheated coffee on the bottom and cold coffee on the top.

Very nice one
It is so convenient! You just put your tea cup on it, it will automatically warm your drink at once, you do not have to push any button, when you take your tea cup away from it for drink, it also automatically stop to work, you do nothing, and you always have warm drinks. Great one! Much better than other warmer. I bought 4 of them already.hahaha

Wonderful product
This was a gift from my son. I use it almost daily, and my coffee never gets cold!!! The safety feature is wonderful as well. I love how it is only on when the cup is sitting on it.

Great idea for a hot cup of coffee in the morning!!!
This is my second purchase of this item. With a lid on my coffee cup, this little gem keeps my coffee hot for as long as I am needing it. Great coffee warmer!!!

Absolutely love it
Works wonders, can't believe I waited this long before trying one out. It's easy to use, turns on/off based on whether there is the weight of a mug on it. It has 3 settings (131F, 149F and 167F) which work great, and are retained after turning it off/on again, like when picking up your mug. It works best on flat-bottomed mugs, works well-enough on narrower mugs, and works somewhat on larger, dome-bottomed mugs. The range of settings should please pretty much anyone, especially paired with mug choices which can allow you to go from lukewarm with a dome-bottomed mug at 131F, to "fresh out of the pot" hot with a flat mug at 167F. Note that if you like your drinks SCALDING, like dropping boiling water in a mug and drinking it right away, this won't get your drink to THAT point, but close enough. It has no problem keeping the temperature of a drink and will actually reheat it IF you give it enough time (around 5-30 minutes depending on the size of the drink and the "fit" of the mug)The plate gets very hot to the touch to the point where it can burn your skin if you take off your mug and place your hand on it right away, but it doesn't last too long once turned off, and the sides of it get warm, but still far from scalding.

DANGEROUS APPLIANCE!!!!!! FIRE HAZARD!!!!!
EDIT: This Mug Warmer ****JUST BURST INTO 10+ INCH HIGH FLAMES!!!!****** I placed my coffee mug on it as I do every morning. Thankfully it happened almost instantly while I was still beside it so my husband and I were able to put out the flames asap. It also burned my side table which my husband will have to refinish now. DANGEROUS FIRE HAZARD!!!!!! Original Review:: Fabulous product and not as large as I had thought! After buying THREE Mr Coffee warmers and 1 Salton over the last year and having them all fail, finally I have one that works as advertised! One of the Mr Coffee warmers even started throwing my breakers so that was fun - NOT! This has auto shutoff and reaches 167f and has consistently kept my beverages hot. BUY THIS if you want a reliable device with auto shutoff or if you want a mug warmer... period!

Love!
The media could not be loaded. I think it's safe to say that I am in love! I would not buy a coffee mug heater without an automatic shut off and this one has it 2 ways! It turns off when you remove the mug via a pressure switch on the bottom and if you do forget a mug on it the heater will turn off after 4 hours as wellIt keeps coffee warm and I love that you can choose the temp it heats to!I do wish that there was an on-off switch so that I could turn the heater off at the end of the day and not worry about something triggering the pressure switch. I just turn the power bar it is connected to off right now to give me peace of mind. I would take off a half star for that if there was an option

I tell everyone about this device
Works like a charm. Keeps my tea and coffee from very warm to very hot based on selection. I touched the surface when very hot and while I quickly removed my hand, not hot enough to accidentally burn. Therefore, I consider it very safe to use. The only noise it can make is a quick beep when I change temperature selection. This will be a go to gift to give family and friends this year. As a suggestion, my cup has a dome bottom which reduces the heat transfer effectiveness. I often use a silicone cover on top of my cup to reduce heat loss through steam and avoid anything (dust, etc.) from going into my cup. Works great. Final note, the picture showing a "red hot" top element is very misleading as the unit temperature never gets hot to a dangerous heat level.

Terrible Smell At First, Surface Cracked After Use
edit 2: The surface of my warmer cracked while I had a mug on it. It wasn't a huge or heavy mug, and it was just resting on the surface (which is to say, it's not like I slammed the mug down and it shattered the warmer). My husband's warmer seems to be doing fine still, which is the only reason I'm giving this product 2 stars. I guess it's just luck of the draw if this product will work or not.edit: after leaving the warmer on for a few hours by an open window with a fan to blow the fumes out, the smell stops. I think it needed some time to get rid of the residue from the protective sticky plastic. Probably should have washed the surface before first use. Fantastic product once the smell is gone though! The warmer itself was really nice, but it causes a really gross melting plastic smell. I bought 2 of these (one for me and one for my husband) and they both had this issue. We made sure all plastic was removed from the units before operating and double checked each unit after noticing the smell.
