You will need to look up your model & check with the parts list. This part did break after only a couple washes though. **Q: Will this fit Whirlpool model #3357978?** A: the part is for a whirlpool washing machine but I don't know it for that model. **Q: Is this a genuine whirlpool part or is it a generic part? (packaging matters as they are sealed bags)** A: I can't recall what the packaging said. It was a perfect fit to the original however this replacement was much better because it has the metal inserts for added durability. **Q: Will this work with a kenmore elite calypso ?** A: I would suggest going to appliancepartspro.com and looking it up according to your model number. Tilting the machine won't give you an answer. You have to remove the motor from the transmission to see this part.
