Magnet Mania

I am a pediatric OT and I LOVE these! Regardless of age or diagnosis, all my kids seem to love them, and there are countless ways of using these. This is my second time buying them because my other ones got lost/ stolen. But it's ok because this one comes with magnetic marbles, 2 wands (super strong magnet), and even an idea booklet. Great price, love it, will buy again when necessary!

My son was introduced to these through his OT and he LOVES them and is always trying to abscond with them when she brings them out so I decided to see if we could find them. Turns out you can find them under 'sewing magnets' as well. They're just fun. The little round metallic windows are mesmerizing. Great science toy, but really great if you've got a kid who needs to work on fine motor, too.

I got them for my 7 year old Granddaughter. She was studying about magnets in 1st Grade. She was playing with magnets on a drapery rope, so I got these. She liked them, and her 2 year old sister, likes them also. Good gift idea.

This is a great little kit! The wand magnets are durable (have been dropped/thrown onto tile several times by the munchkin and are still in perfect shape), and the magnetic discs harder to destroy than I'd have thought. My only snag on rating 5 stars is that the marbles seem to be permanently polarized toward each other, probably due to being stored pre-shipping in contact with a magnet wand. Not a big deal, but since we used them in a discovery bottle, they just cling together in a little ring at the bottom rather than floating about to be collected with the wand. All in all, would buy again, fairly impressed with the quality for the price.

I don't normally review everything I purchase on Amazon. That would be like a part-time job. ;) But this toy so impressed me that I just had to give it a five star review. The magnets are super strong, each one is capable if picking up every item it comes with (with the exception of the second magnet). The little jeweled pieces are much more visually appealing than your typical hex bolts or paper clips. Best of all this is an ageless toy, my 10 year old and my 2 year old (note: younger than the recommended age, he was very well supervised) were both entertained, even enchanted by this set. A must have! Tip: keep the plastic cylinder it comes in to accomplish amazing feats of science that will impress your kids(assuming they aren't experts in magnetism!

I got this for my nieces, and they were thoroughly entertained. Too young to truly understand the science, it's still fun, educational play for them. We did color games, number games, and general magnet fun. The best part is the easy clean up. Use the wand to help pick up all your pieces! We had one of the marbles roll under the sofa, and retrieved it in no time flat. I ordered 2 additional wands to allow for more activities, and more people to participate.

WOW this magnet set is incredible! We love it! There is SO many activities we can do with it. Sight words, math, reading. I have a son with autism, not much holds his interest, but he loves this set. Great for all therapies. I can not recommend this enough. The price is worth every penny. I would not recommend it for young kiddos and kiddos that put things in their mouth.

Great set! Came with two decently powerful magnet wands (one purple, one yellow), 10 magnetic marbles (magnetic on their own, and stick great to the wand) which can be connected and dragged around like a snake, an activity booklet (haven't dug into that much yet), and 50 counting chips with an outer ring of metal which is not embedded in the plastic like other sets. Chips are fairly flexible, so I'm, not sure yet how they'll hold up to play. Came in 5 colors - 10 each of red, blue, yellow, green, and purple. My kids (2.75 and 4.75 years old) are having tons of fun with it!

A big hit with my 4-year old granddaughter and a small contribution via fun to her STEM education perhaps. Magnets are fascinating and mysterious in any case.

Bought this for kid as teacher’s reference. They are strong, colorful, interesting learning stuff. It has a case can keep all of them organized.
