Superb Entry or ReEntry into the World of Vinyl!
I’ve always been impressed by AudioTechnica products and this deck has not disappointed. I was looking for a deck to reconnect with vinyl world but also with Bluetooth output to connect to the Marshall speaker I was very happy with. With three finishes this deck looks smart, works straight out of the box, and gives the Bluetooth and AV speaker connectivity. I’ve listened to a range of albums from metal to jazz to classical and they have all sounded superb. The price is as great as the product.

A nice starter turntable
I purchased this turntable on behalf of my sister. She was visiting me on the weekend, so I thought I would set it up and show her how to use it. I thought I would have a play around with it, well I was impressed with the sound quality. I had it connected to my Yamaha RN303D via line 1 and the line out option on the turntable, as the Yamaha had no phono output and connected to my Dali Oberon 1 Speakers. I know this is a entry level turntable but most people would enjoy the sound and it so easy to operate. I would recommend it to the newbie’s who are buying vinyl for the first time.

A 1st Class affordable turntable
At last, I’ve finally bought a turntable that actually meets all my needs. I’ve been looking for a record player so that I can start playing my old (and some new) vinyl albums.I’m not an expert when it comes to decent sound quality, but I know when I hear something I like - and when I don’t.I started off a few years ago with a 1960’s Dansette record player, which was fine for a while, but eventually got tired of the low background ‘hum’ that came from it. I then tried a Bush suitcase player. The sound was tinny and lacked any base whatsoever. Next was a Victrola. Even worse. In order to cut out background noise, the sound was muted until the stylus hit the start of a track. This could have worked except that it missed the first note(s) of the songs, and kept muting during quiet parts of the music. Next, I tried the Denver retro looking player. Nice and stylish, but noisy and again, tinny. My final purchase was this Audio Technical LP-60X. Perfect! Looks really stylish, and sounds fantastic through my soundbar and subwoofer. It cost only slightly more than the others that I had bought, but at £135, really is great value for money. 5th time lucky I guess.

This IS Quality ! - parts, build and functionality - the Arm AUTO Returns !!
Easy enough set up via a 2 minute video, ignore the whingers on here. The unit is a simple but solid build - full 12" metal platter - sadly lacking on most turntables on here, felt matt - also lacking on almost all budget turntables on here, rubber (not foam) feet to stop unit sliding - again from buying budget priced turntables on here they are usually foam which cause any unit to easily slide or move around. The operating mechanism is much more advanced and accident proof than any of the other budget turntables on here - you simply set the speed, size of disc and push a button and the arms kicks into action. I've had several cheap end Chinese type turntables from Amazon and not one of them auto returns the arm. This one does !! - full marks just for thus. You will need a speaker(s) I have it playing thru a small but loud enough bluetooth speaker and it sounds perfect. Despite what some of the Q & A say on here this is NOT wireless Bluetooth enabled, which would've really been a bonus. Havent tried recording Vinyl thru my laptop yet but will be doing so soon. After buying and returning many cheaper gimmicky looking players on here thru quickly established faults, avoid them, but THIS and get a superior machine without the issues of the similar priced Retro type models.

Great entry level deck
Having recently bought a new sound system and enjoying how my CD music sounds through it, I thought it would be fun to try Vinyl (again). I didn't want to trail cables, so made the usual hunt through written and video reviews for a bluetooth deck and decided on this Audio-Technica deck. The platter and belt are very easy to set up. Bluetooth connection to the sound system was painless and has been rock-solid with no drop-outs (so far). I will be getting a decent head-set soon and it'll be fun testing the the deck with them as it is said the deck can remember up to eight devices (obviously just one device connected at a time). It's fully automatic with stop/start buttons and the arm returns to it's rest at the end of the album. It is an entry level deck with a fairly lightweight platter and no pitch, weight or skate adjustments, but I didn't want my 'return to vinyl experiment' to be too costly. I ordered a couple of albums and they arrived the same day as the deck. I'm not an audiophile but there is an extra something when listening to vinyl. I can only describe it as... "more!". The one thing that did surprised me is there is no power on/off switch, the deck just goes into stand-by. So it's plugged in via a spare Tapu smart plug and good ol' Alexa does the job. Finally, I am more than happy with the LP60XBTW and my vinyl library will definitely grow.

A great dipping your toe back into vinyl turntable
Unsure if my return to vinyl was a long term thing or just riding the wave of nostalgia, I needed a turntable that didn't break the bank but also of decent quality better than suitcase ones flooding the market. Not only did this fit the bill but it is turning out to exceed my expectations in what it producesAudio-Technica know how to build turntables and even though this one is on the budget end of their range, there is nothing budget about what sound it can get out of your vinyl. This comes with an OK built-in pre amp to get you going out the box but if you pair it with a decent external pre amp, even a Fosi Box X2 like I have, the sound quality really opens up to have a superb rich sound for the price. You really start feeling the unique sound of vinyl over digital formatsOf course cuts are made for the price. It's a bit plasticky but not cheap. The cartridge is not upgradable (just the stylus), and no adjustable tonearm (preset for the fixed cartridge) but it's good to go and will serve you well until you feel the need to upgrade the deck.A turntable built for its purpose and built well. Purists will tell you spend at least double to start with but there's no need with this.
