Sonnet Fountain Pen Black Lacquer with Gold Trim Medium Nib (1931495)

I was looking for a smooth writhing fountain pen, and have been disappointed in the six very expensive pens bought elsewhere within the last year. I got the medium point, and this pen is so smooth and balanced, that it is a pleasure to write again. In fact, I just purchased another in a different color today. I highly recommend this Parker model. UPDATE: I purchased another of the same model, and am equally impressed with its beautiful, smooth performance.

I LOVE this pen! after not having much luck with other brands I tried this one due to the reviews and wow a winner at an affordable price for me. I bought for my birthday and I am loving writing with this! Especially because the ink flows nicely and does not skip like others in this price range and even a little higher I had some issues. I am thankful for all the reviews that led me to this one! It looks so beautiful and elegant! I loved it so much I bought a Parker broad Nib also!

Beautiful product! Looks definitely genuine and the price point was good. Got this fountain pen as a gift for someone. But don't make the same mistake that I did and purchase the ink that you dip it in. I didn't read the directions before I purchased it and got a couple ink jars that you dip the pens in to gift a long with the pen. This uses a different kind of ink than that.

I purchased this pen on 03/28/2024 and have had a mixed experience with it. When a new cartridge is installed or when the nib is dipped into ink, it writes well. It is very nice and comfortable to hold. Unfortunately, once you're done writing that first time and you close the pen, the ink dries up and no amount of shaking or scribbling on scratch paper gets it to start again. As I write this, I have a brand new cartridge in it but the ink won't flow through the nib. The pen looks great and shows well but has been a pain to write with. Unless you are okay, with keeping a pot of ink handy to dip the nib into every time you want to write, I would not recommend this pen. I've got a Wordsworth & Black that I paid half as much for, and a Shaeffer that cost about the same, and they both look just as great and work beautifully.

I had used Parker fountain pen for more than 9 years, Parker pen is very smooth in writing. Best if you can draw 8 without disruption then it consider good in craftsmanship. My pen was defective, I had requested call center, however there service center asked me to pay for the repairs which is half of pen price.

Pen doesn't feel any better than a $35 Chinese made Beilunar pen. Won't be buying another parker product. Seems like I paid and extra $100 for the brand name. Also the converter holds very little ink compared to cheaper pens. Ink flow isn't great. Have already had ink stop flowing, which has not happened in my cheaper pens. I like my Noodler Ahab pens the best and they are significantly cheaper. Save your money.
