The hard copy looks great on the outside , but was hastily Printed up and and looks like badly printed , with images to dark and not clear , or thought out . Ive seen better and have printed articles from the Road Runners International web site , which are the same ! I may seek to return the book and get my money back !

I wrote this book while serving as a staff historian at the CIA. It was subsequently declassified and released, leaving many parts still blacked out because they had not been declassified. The PDF release had unreadable maps and very poor quality photos. Various companies then simply took the poor quality CIA PDF, put a cover on it, and sold it. In 2013 the CIA released a much more complete version with very little withheld. Skyhorse Publishing contacted me in 2015 and asked me to write a new preface to the book. I suggested that they also get a foreword from Chris Pocock, the world's leading expert on U-2s, and I helped get the original maps declassified by CIA. Chris added new, high-quality photos, and the text of the book was typeset and is thus far more readable than the poor quality PDFs in other editions.

The cover is promising. The story is 5 star but the quality of the pages is poor. Like bad photocopies. Pictures, maps, etc. are of very poor quality. A real shame.I have other books with the same pictures as in this book and they are much better quality.
