Absolutely love it! The clock was easy to set up and looks so cute. All part are working well, and keeping the exact time. Just love when all the parts are moving. Looks fabulous! So happy I bought this one. I did buy the suggested batteries.

So the clock is awesome. My first purchase came with the bottom display and several paddles of the water wheel broke. It said to give the pendulum a slight push. It didn't seem to work either. So it was returned. My next clock(same one, just hoping for better luck) was all intact and worked perfect. The pendulum has a magnet and needs to be perfectly level. So the goods... are it's amazing for the price. I researched and there is nothing with dancers, wheels, adjustable cuckoo volume for this price. It's very entertaining and nice to watch and listen to. My only complaints are the clock itself is very small and my eyes are not the best so it's not much use for actual time purposes for me. I'm not sure the quality will last. It seems pretty well made but this is cheap plastic parts and not traditional with weights and such. It's wooden frame seems ok. I would recommend this clock for anyone who is looking, but doesn't want to spend 400 to 1000 bucks. It's very nice and pretty much what I expected from the advertisement.

Just bought one last week when they ran out of them. The one I bought was an Amazon Marketplace model, meaning it was and open box, Very Good condition example. Not sure exactly what this meant but it came packaged and complete but without factory books and or pamphlets etc. It did come however with the one page black and white directions. For $156.00 plus $10 shipping it's a nice deal but I wish I saw that they put a new one on within the last day and I would have bought this one but it's okay, the one I have works fine and is complete. It has a moving water wheel, dancers and cuckoo. Quarts movement. I have quite a few other cuckoos. Some antiques, others 8 day wind all Black Forest including an 1890 NYC Subway Cuckoo. I love all of them and I really like this because it's on the smaller size but has some nice movements and I don't have to worry about winding it or repairing and restore it, as mechanical cuckoos can be inherently unreliable over time. Just so you know. This is a good deal so you will enjoy it and it's really fun. Cuckoos are a blast especially when you have a half dozen of them going off at the same time and your wife doesn't even notice them anymore. Thats really funny to see.

I got this for my wife for Christmas. She loves it and it has kept perfect time and very easy to set. Highly recommend

I bought this for my sister after she found one in a vintage shop but decided she didn't care for the design. This one reminded me a lot of my grandmother's old cuckoo. My sister loves it. She put it up in her living room and it cuckoos every hour then plays a different song. The nighttime feature is great, no disturbance when you are trying to sleep. It does not cuckoo on the half hour like some of them do. No need to wind using the hanging bells, they are only decoration and do not move. The pendulum does swing. The dancers and water wheel rotate when the music plays.

Water wheel turns but the little men don't go around in circles. Took off the back and I could see one of the wires wasn't soldered on to the motor to the turntable they are on. Can't get to it to fix it and don't feel like sending it back because the rest works O.K..

Loved the item at first! But the little people that spin around only worked a few times and then stopped. Ordered replacement, which was quick and easy...but same thing happened. Does not offer me option for another replacement. I would think would have better craftsmanship since I paid almost $200 USD for the item, plus it was a gift! So now I have to either leave the defective gift with the person, or take it back and try to find something similar at the same price point. Kind of ruins the experience.

The clock is lovely and made well. The animation is smoothly working and the little dancers and all move perfectly. So far the clock has kept good time, but has a hitch in the cuckoo himself. It plays several songs at random, so you don't hear the same thing over and over. However, the actual voice of the cuckoo starts out with some screechy whistling, that sounds like my cat wants inside! It's like his fingernails on glass! Then the bird goes into a songbird sound that's pleasant. Then comes the ding dong cuckoo. We've never been able to get the cuckoo right. It chimes at 12pm with 1 ding. Then maybe at 8 it does 3 dings. It's hard to tell bc each time it sings, it has an echo and it's difficult to tell how many it emits. I'm sure at some point we'll figure it out, but until then 3 stars...

Nos ha encantado, es muy bonito, cuando hay poca luz solo sale el cuco y cuando hay más más luz los bailarines bailan y el molino de agua se mueve mientras suena una melodía, cada hora tiene una melodía distinta.

Nothing to dislike apart from wish it had a volume control, such a beautifully crafted clock
