This is cheaply made - does not survive in a retail environment.
Lasted 4 months. At first it worked fine - actually it worked well until it broke. The scanner has a trigger that presses against a spring-loaded metal switch. The trigger/switch mechanism is held in place by two very small screws mounted in small plastic posts in the housing. The scanner is designed for a VERY LIGHT trigger press, but what happens in a retail environment is that when a barcode fails to scan, the operator tends to press the trigger a little harder out of frustration. After very little time, the post on the right (as you look from the rear) will fail (break) rendering the trigger (and the scanner) non-functional. Overall a poor design that could have been made better either by using larger diameter plastic mounting posts or by mounting metal posts in the housing. Probably fine for HOME use, but not for retail.

Excellent
Works as it should. Makes life easier to scan the barcodes we need to at work. Highly recommend. Literally just plugged it into the USB port on the company’s it set itself up!
