I Need a Lifeguard Everywhere but the Pool

This book is good fun read book plus I like Lisa's column Chic Wit in the Sunday Philadelphia Inquirer which is what brought me to this book. If you're looking for a fast feel good book this is for you. Normally I read action books so this was a nice change!

Laugh out loud funny. As usual. And so relatable. ( I love Bradley Cooper too.)

I have read all of the books by this mother and daughter team but have to say I enjoyed "Does this beach make me look fat?' and "Have a nice guilt trip" more than this book. As with the other books written by Lisa and Francesca, this is a series of short stories depicting their individual life experiences. I find I relate better to Lisa's stories but am sure that Francesca's stories will resonate with women in their 20's and 30's.I loved the chapter where Lisa referred to herself as a "bookaholic" and the picture with her piles of books looks exactly like my house. Am very happy to see I am not the only book "hoarder". This is very light reading and an easy and enjoyable read.

As always, you can count on the mother daughter combo of Lisa and Francesca to make you laugh as they tell their life stories, and you can totally relate to them being like the silly things that happen in our own world.

Funny as usual. Have read them all for years. Nice light reading that you can pick up and put down randomly without losing your train of thought as they are individual stories.

Some of Lisa's funniest and most entertaining looks at life post menopausal. I'd like to buy the farm next door and share a few adventures.

It took me months to read. That boring it was. Expected better than i received. Not interested in knowing the daily life of people

Love laughing with these two home-town authors. I don't have to wait for the Sunday newspaper to get my funny fix.
