Rack and Test Tube Set, 25 X 150mm, 6 Piece

The price of these large borosilicate test tubes and the included stoppers would make them a real bargain without the rack. You'll probably have to ream out the holes in the rack to make the tubes fit. So what. That's not exactly a difficult task...took me about 5 minutes. Big deal.

I returned this item because 3 of 6, i.e., half of the test tubes did not fit in the rack. The holes in rack were too small in diameter. That said, the tubes seemed fine. The stoppers fit the tubes. The rack seemed flimsy. I would not purchase again.

I ordered one and loved it so much that a few weeks later I ordered another one. Unfortunately the 2nd one I received came with 1 test tube that had a diameter larger than the hole. Because it didn’t fit, it didn’t take long for someone to bump it, knocking the glass tube to the ground where it broke.

Out of the 6 holes.....only 3 were a good fit. The other 3 were too tight....I got the tubes into the holder, but it was TIGHT! I worried they would break but they didn’t.

Perfect for an instructional chemistry lab.

Read carefully when ordering these test tubes. The heading lists them as 150mm but the description below says 200mm. I didn't notice this and ended up with tubes that are too long.
