Great mechanical lead pencil, I still prefer the 0.5

There are better mechanical pencils out there. They are all made of better materials and cost a lot of $$$. These pencils, however, are the best mass produced pencils you can get. The leads are durable and don't break. The pencil grips are comfortable, even with lengthy periods of writing. It's super easy to refill lead and new erasers. The plastic used also seems to be more durable and better looking than any of the other cheap pencils out in the market. It is a shame that this is the only place I can find these now. Most stores do not carry them anymore.

Good quality mechanical pencil.

I had purchased another brand of mechanical pencils (staples) and used them until I just couldn't bear it any longer. The eraser was garbage...just smeared black smudges all over the paper. I finally purchased these, and everytime I erase I feel like I am in heaven. I half expect a mess, but then I am very pleasantly surprised by how perfectly it erases. The writing end works great too. This purchase was SO worth it!

I do a lot of crossword puzzles and have probably tried every mechanical pencil on the market. All that I can say is that these are easily the best that I've ever used. The leads are durable and the eraser doesn't smudge like some others that I've tried. They might be a bit more expensive, but are well worth the extra few pennies.

Impossible to find these in a store locally. Pilot is my favorite brand for mechanical pencils and no sharpening too! I got hooked on them at work and although now retired they’re still my preference.

The lead is thin, but it does not break easily. Best mechanical pencil I’ve ever used. The eraser can be difficult to change on some but not others even though they all seem to be built the same way.

These are very nice to write with. Nice grip, nice eraser, nice lead. Sometimes pencils come with soft lead that smudges and is hard to read but these are really nice. These are my favorite.
