Ergon GP3 Grips

Put onto Brompton 2018 M handlebar. Removing original grip is just a case of loosening one hexagonal bolt in each takes 30 seconds. GP3 is total quality and enhances feel and position. You will probably need to loosen the brake fittings to the bar and move in just a smidgen before retightening afterwards as the reach is a few mm more than the original grip. This is very quick and easy to do just loosening and retightening the easy to access hexagonal bolt on each. Push the GP3 on literally fully and adjust positions for comfort before tightening the one hexagonal bolt on each GP3 Grip. Does need tightening until no movement or rotation when you pull on the sticky up bit on the bar end. As usual by trial and error tighten to no movement and max of a quarter turn on top. If I have any religious belief it is never over-tighten bolts! take time doing properly. End result looks good, feels good, oozes quality and should last the lifetime of the bike. Be prepared for weird and envious looks as your cycling smile rate goes up!

Initially I though they felt a little too narrow, but after a good 30 mile ride I can honestly say that they are very comfortable. They allow many different hand positions and can be adjusted very easily and very quickly. Once you've got your old grips off these can be on within a couple of minutes and tighten up very easily and feel very strong and secure. We'll worth the money, I got them on offer at £19.99, absolute bargain.

I have a Carrera vengeance and this fitted great, nice and comphy one the angles are known, and after a couple of rides had them perfect.

This is an Ergon replacement for a pair I've had 12 years on my light tourer. I changed the frame on the bike and am delighted with the screw tensioners.

These fit the bars on my bike easily and firmly and it's great to be able to shift positions to reduce fatigue on longer rides. The quality is greatly improved over the stock grips I've replaced.
