Works well and is very sturdy. Didn't seem to reduce flow rate at all.

This is a high quality foot valve and a good value. It's been used on a pump that draws from a muddy water source. It never failed, despite being neglected and abused.

Works as hoped. Installed this at the end of intake hose at the bottom of my shallow bore (replaced different type of foot valve). Pump now holds its prime perfect!
