This pad sticks like crazy!!! I had back surgery on 8/22. Other pads fell off over night because I toss and turn and I need to be re-taped in the morning. But, this pad never moved or came unstuck at all anywhere. However, when you go to remove it, you will need to rip it off fast because if you do it slow it pulls on the skin and hair. It grips hard. The weird thing is that the skin and bandage doesn’t feel like it has adhesive after it has been removed! But, when it’s on your skin it is stuck tight. If you have skin that tears easily, I would not use this bandage. As for absorbency- my incision isn’t weeping or wet and I’ve not been able to get it wet since surgery so I don’t know if it absorbs well. That’s why I gave it 3 stars. I simply don’t know about the absorbency. This bandage fits what I need perfectly- size/shape and adhesion.

Great bandage; stays on until you want it off and does not rip the skin off with it

I purchased these bandages for a third-degree burn on my lower abdomen, largely because they were the correct size and because they could be delivered quickly. Although the burn site was healing, I wanted a layer of protection between my clothes and the damaged skin when I returned to work. The bandages were easy to apply, and they stayed in place all day. Since my burn was not oozing, I can’t judge the pad’s absorbency, but I can say that no ointment leaked through to my clothes. When I removed the bandages, they did leave red outlines where the adhesive pulled my skin, but I’ve had much worse irritation from other brands.

Very good bandages, worked as pictured.

I have a fairly large wound on back of my arm near elbow (above, not on bend). I have discharge and the bandage does not hold it well. Always leaking at the bottom, even if I just put it on. I am changing every couple of hours which is costly. It does not stick as well either, usually is not attached at a couple spots around the bandage. Easy to remove since it doesn't stick well. Still will need to re-order as I cannot find anything else with a 4" x 4" pad. Nothing else large enough for proper coverage. I had really high hopes, unfortunate.

I purchased these bandages after cervical spine surgery. This product is FANTASTIC!!! Other wound dressings that I had purchased left a great deal of adhesive residue on the skin that was difficult to remove, leaving the area around the incision sticky, and I had to reinforce the dressings with tape to keep them in place. This product sticks well, it doesn’t require additional tape and doesn’t leave a sticky residue on the skin. I had moderate drainage from the wound, and it absorbed the discharge nicely. I’m very impressed with the quality of the product for such an affordable price!

The product does not stay on skin, even without water. I applied the dressing over my mostly healed incision, and it was coming off within about 15 minutes. I reapplied the dressing and it came off completely in the water within a minute. These are definitely not waterproof or even water resistant at all. They don't even serve the purpose of at least covering the wound when not wet. They also do not appear to have any elements of silicone (as stated). I applied a different bandage that I had bought locally for an incision that was a bit smaller, and that bandage stayed on with no problems the entire time until I removed it about 5 hours later. Additionally, to my surprise, these dressings are not returnable either, so these were a complete and utter waste. Don't order these and get ripped off like I did.
