Premium US to Australia & New Zealand Power Adapter Plug (Type I, 3 Pack, Grounded)

After reading many reviews and recommendations, I settled on the Hero Universal Travel Adapter. My decision was based on the comments, reviews, and recommendations by an independent 3d party. I then purchased the item via Amazon. The package was received in a timely manner and is all that is promised. There was, however, a slight discrepancy in the description pre purchase on Amazon and the manual accompanying the product. When i raised the concern to Gabriel at Hero, he acknowledged the discrepancy, and offered to send me the adapter I needed at no charge. When I raised an additional concern regarding receiving the component in time for the departure date, he went ahead and added expedited shipping at no charge, to ensure my receipt of the "fix" well in advance of my departure.What more can one expect from a company and from a Customer Service Representative?!?!I highly recommend this company, as much for their communicative manner, as for their commitment to delighting their customers and the quality of their products and services

I DO NOT recommend. Waste of money & traveling space. I found this Travel “Adaptor” on a travel blog and it was toted as excellence, no mention was made anywhere that it “is not compatible with blow dryers, hair straighteners, curling irons, travel kettles, or any other high power appliance.” Only cell phone, so NOW I HAVE TO BUY ANOTHER ADAPTER in order to take care of my hair while I travel. SCAMMERS!! You should be ashamed.

This little adapter worked perfectly with our American phone-charge cords in France, which is all we needed it for. Might sound like a little, means a whole lot. Do not expect it to support running (in real time) a hair dryer, clothes-iron, glue-gun, solder-gun, nor Wheetabix, but who takes that shit on a trip anyway?

I took this an my trip to the U.K. for the first time. An though the price may be a bit high it is about in caliber as all other the others on the market. It is very compact in design ,which is very helpful when you’re trying to pack for a Trans-Atlantic trip and need to fit as much as possible in your luggage. There are multiple ports that will let you plug in a couple of your electronics. However, one of the drawbacks is because of one of its strengths. Due it it being so compact it can be difficult to fit all the plugs onto the adapter due to the different size in plugs. Now the problem is alleviated if you bring a multi-outlet adapter along but that would take up more space. So if you don’t have a lot of electronics to plug in you can take the adaptor alone on be completely fine. Otherwise investing in a multi-outlet adaptor would be a very smart play. Other than that this product is great and I personally am very satisfied in my purchase and can wait for the next chance to use it again.

Easy to use and came in handy on travel to UK and FranceOnly thing that sucked was that I couldn’t plug in my hair straightener or travel iron because the prongs were the kind that have a slightly bigger and smaller one, this adapter only works with those that have prongs that are exactly the same in size- not sure how else to describe this.Anyway we ended up buying one in the UK that would work with my electronics.Also, I blew a fuse and it was helpful that it came with a spare and didn’t cause a short circuit, overall would recommend just make sure the electronics fit beforehand.
