Broke apart while child was riding
This product is cheaply made and completely unsafe for children. We purchased this for our toddler as a Christmas present, thinking the ability to convert from a tricycle to balance bike was a great feature. She was a little too short to comfortably pedal at first, but by the time she grew into it she started using it more regularly. After maybe a couple months of use, it fell apart as she was riding it outside- the front part completely detached from the back. We thought maybe my in-laws didn't assemble it tightly enough, so we made sure to tighten it when we fixed it. A few months later and it fell apart once again while she was riding on the street, this time bending the piece that should hold it together. The fact that a single flimsy rod is meant to hold together the entire vehicle is ridiculous. Do not buy this if you want your child to be safe.

Early Birthday gift
We gave this bike to our Grand Son as part of his second birthday. However, he is still a bit small for this bike which disappointed us a bit but nothing against the bike. He can't reach the pedals but that didn't stop him from being excited to receive it as a gift. It was fun watching him recognize what all the pieces were becoming as our son built it for him. Perhaps in a few more months he will be able to enjoy it.

Worth it.
My two year one month old son loves his bike. We went straight to the double rear wheel balance configuration and it didn't take him long to figure it out. We have wood and tile floors and this bike is perfect for them. The rubber tires have good grip without scratching and the handlebar grips have a round rubber ball thingy that also protects the floors and walls. The adjustable seat is a must for his growth. It's also easy to assemble. Pricier than other bikes I researched, but the quality seems good so far. Very sturdy amd made with quality materials. We expect it to last through our next child.

Nice looking bike, 2 issues
First off this bike is really nice looking and appears to be good build quality. There are 2 issues I have- Age range says 2-5 years. I have a 2 year old, he is average height, but cannot reach the pedals. That would be ok as his feet reach the floor from the seat however if he tries to scoot along the pedals hit his shins as they turn as the front wheel turns. Because of the positioning of the pedals you cannot coast without constant peddling, 2 years old seems a little young to have mastered the peddling and the pedals hurt them if they disengage. I'd say a better starting age would be 3 years old.- The bike has 3 different configurations, however it requires getting the tools out and keeping the extra parts handy required to make the change. If you expect to change from one configuration to the other on the fly it doesn't work that way. Additionally if you buy this with the expectation that you will change the configuration in a year or two, be sure to keep the extra parts needed or you'll be out of luck. A better way would have been to have engineered the bike so it could be reconfigured without tools and without keeping extra parts. All in all nice bike and my older kids like it, I probably would have held off another year for my youngest.

Used items are shipped
Bought 2, both were used. 1st one showed obvious signs of wear, 2nd one was even worse and parts were missing and scattered all in the box. Stay away.

Solid Construction
Very cool bike. Solid construction and easy to assemble. While my 19-mo old was capable of peddling, his 30-inch long body was not big enough to reach the peddles and barely cleared the cross bar. I'm waiting till his 2nd birthday to try it again.

WILL IT EVOLVE?
We received 2 Evolve Bikes. ??? Only ordered 1 but, ok because I'm happy to have one at my house as well as my Grandson's. Pd for both. Not as easy to assemble as the directions read. Papa broke a couple of small parts and it still works fine. Make sure to keep the tools and directions for the evolution.
