faulty chance
I ordered two sets for my mandolin and they came weeeks apart. The first set was put on my mandolin and the EE strings kept popping ( not breaking) just before reachind tune. I tok my mandolin to Long and McQuaid locally and they showed me what the popping sound was..the strings stretched as they were being tuned and looked at the base like they were stretched way too thin just by regular tuning. The second set was put on my mandolin and so far work well. The people at Long and MacQuaid said they had never seen a string stretch like that before. Im hoping the second set work OK...I have used this string brand for my guitar and mandolin for decades.

Cordes Excellentes Sur Le Bajo Sexto !
