This appears to be a genuine Siemens duplex 2-pole 20A breaker, good for supplying two 240V 20A circuits, or two MWBC 20A double 120A circuits. However, as the product came in an unmarked sealed plastic bag, it's difficult to be certain that the product is genuine. I could speculate that it's being sold through some grey-market reseller, as other Siemens circuit breaker products that I've purchased at retail are supplied in marked cardboard boxes or plastic bubble packaging. On the flip side, I could find no actual evidence the product was anything but authentic.

Over a decade ago when I bought my house, I knew that the electrical panel wasn't laid out as properly as it should have been but it wasn't necessarily dangerous. I bought a couple of these (and a slightly different model) after speaking to some electrician friends, so that I could fix the layout and not have anything be double tapped at the breaker box.

i had ordered this and tried to install it near the top of my breaker panel, but it wouldn't fit in. after a lot of searching on the web to try to figure out what was wrong, i finally discovered that double pole breakers only fit in the lower slots of the panel. after re-arranging some breakers, i was able to install it and it works great.

These breakers are designed for a particular panel. I'm in Canada and after reading the reviews, I almost didn't buy this. But I also couldn't solve my issue without it. I triple checked and confirmed I have a eq panel ( if you don't have a Siemens EQ, Siemens Ultimate, ITE, and Gould load centers it wont fit) I was thinking this wasn't going to work after reading all the Canadians with the wrong load centers but it arrived today and fit perfect, moved 2 heat pumps onto it and its currently running them without issue. Just make sure your panel is the correct panel. the panel will say something like 8 slot 16 circuit and EQ.

It is a little hard to snap in place but once in it works great and I have my AC running agian on 220 volt.

I haven't installed it yet but it is a Siemmens product so expect no issue. It was difficult to this product locally so I was happy to find it on Amazon.

This breaker is wrong on a number of levels. 1. The product number on the breaker does not match what the breaker is. The part number is a quad 20 and the breaker is (2) 30 amp and (2) 15 amp. 2. The sticker on the breaker indicates a CSA and UL listing. CSA being for Canada; however, this is not a Canadian breaker. This will not seat into a Canadian Siemens Panel. This is only for USA Panels. 3. Siemens Quad Breakers are Solid housings with no flexibility to will them separately. This one you can. It is flimsy and poorly made. I do not think this is a Siemens Breaker at all! Amazon should not be selling these electrical items if they do not know what they are selling. I wouldn't buy anything for electrical rough in again from amazon. Go to your local electrical distributor!
