This was a PERFECT fix!! Worth every cent!

Excellent quality
Much sturdier and better made than any hardware store bought comparable. A great difference is the way the j-box attached to the bar. Plus, the compression bar with tripod metal ends with metal brads that you use a wrench to torque pressure against the rafter boards is great. Super easy installation and I know this is not coming down. It's holding an 85lb. fan but before I installed the fan to the box, I gently and with safety and caution suspended myself for 10 seconds to test the strength. Other store bought compression fan install kits were flimsy and did not have the thick metal and good construction as this product. Good luck. I really appreciate their product.
