It worked well but shipping cost was too high for those want it in Canada.

I couldn’t find a single tutorial or video on how these guys work. The plug shipped already screwed together. So for posterity, the inner part (black with metal outer) screws into the outer metal (part you hold with quick release). The soldering terminals are very small. Good luck. Nevertheless, it fixed my problem.

I used this to make a replacement cable for my David Clark headset. While it was nice to save money on the cable, this part is not the same quality as a hirose and still cost quite a lot. The center of the connector is not metal like the hirose connectors and is instead a plastic with a chrome coating. It fits in the connector but it’s not as tight and will wear much faster.

purchased them to make some custom power supplies for a Toshiba IKHR camera. worked fine, good quality.
