Blown Away
This is my first professional camera I’ve purchased. I’ve used the canon 5d a lot 10 years ago so I didn’t have expectations. I am amazed about all the versatility and functionality it has. For me being new and a beginner the ease of use was surprisingly great. The quality of the camera is fantastic and doesn’t feel like a lot of plastic like some do it feels like you just spent almost 3k on it. Great value. Battery life seems to be as expected but like all situations needing more as spare for long shoots is expected. The quality of the images straight out of the box is immaculate. The only thing I don’t like is the crop for 60-120p and I debated over it for months since I like shooting in 60 to slow down to 30 compared to like the Nikon z and canon r that’s comparable to this one. But the full frame is new to me and is stunning. Definitely a camera you’ll never want to get rid of

Exceptional Full-Frame Mirrorless Camera — Sony Alpha 7 IV Delivers Pro-Level Performance!
The Sony Alpha 7 IV is a powerhouse full-frame mirrorless camera that truly lives up to the hype. Whether you’re a professional photographer or an advanced enthusiast, this camera offers outstanding image quality, fast autofocus, and impressive video capabilities. The 33MP sensor delivers stunning detail and dynamic range, making portraits, landscapes, and low-light shots look incredible. The autofocus system is remarkably accurate and fast, with real-time Eye AF that locks on to subjects with ease, whether people or animals. Video creators will appreciate the camera’s 4K 60fps recording with 10-bit color depth, providing cinema-grade footage straight out of the camera. The in-body image stabilization is effective, making handheld shooting smooth and reliable. The ergonomics and build quality are excellent — comfortable grip, intuitive controls, and weather-sealed body suitable for tough conditions. The fully articulating touchscreen adds versatility for vlogging and creative angles. Battery life is solid for a mirrorless, and the dual card slots offer peace of mind for professional work. Overall, the Sony Alpha 7 IV is a top-tier camera that balances performance, innovation, and usability perfectly. Highly recommended for anyone serious about photography and videography!

The Perfect Hybrid Camera for Photo and Video Enthusiasts!
I recently upgraded to the Sony Alpha 7 IV with the 28-70mm zoom lens, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. This camera is an absolute powerhouse, perfectly blending stunning photo quality with exceptional video performance. The 33MP full-frame sensor delivers sharp, detailed, and vibrant images even in low-light situations. Colors are rich and accurate, and the dynamic range is phenomenal. The autofocus system is lightning-fast and incredibly accurate, especially with eye detection for both humans and animals. It’s made shooting portraits and action shots seamless. For video creators, the 4K 60p recording with 10-bit 4:2:2 color depth is a game-changer. The image stabilization ensures smooth, cinematic footage, even when handheld. The footage looks professional straight out of the camera, and the customization options allow you to tweak settings to suit any workflow. The camera feels robust and well-built without being too heavy. The grip is comfortable for extended shoots, and the articulating touchscreen makes composing shots at any angle effortless. The intuitive menu system is much improved and easy to navigate, even for someone transitioning from another brand. The included 28-70mm lens is a solid starter for general photography. While not the fastest lens out there, it’s versatile enough for landscapes, portraits, and everyday shots. I’d recommend pairing the A7 IV with a higher-end lens in the future to unleash the camera’s full potential.

Just invest in this camera. 10/10!
I cannot recommend this camera enough and here is why: First and foremost, I’m a Sony girl when it comes to photography. I made the swap from Canon to Sony in 2023 and will never look back. So when reading this, take into consideration I’m a huge fan of Sony. In 2023, I purchased the a7iii and LOVED IT. I had some issues with auto focus in lowlight situations. My only other complaint about the a7iii was the screen only tilted. Of course, I took advantage of the Black Friday deals last week and here we are! Product Breakdown: 1. Photo quality: WOW. All Sony seems to remain the same but the RAW photos (when you nail your manual settings) are incredible and unmatched. Also, keep in mind, I’m shooting in RAW format and not JPEG. This camera delivers CRISPY, sharp images. I can’t get over it. 2. Packaging: 10/10. Sony saved me with their packaging because the FedEx driver decided to throw my package on the porch and it was okay! 3. Functionality: This is by far not a beginner camera but when you learn Sony, it is not only doable but becomes muscle memory. I definitely recommend doing your research on Sony before switching if you’re thinking of swapping to this brand. I love the new and improved MP on this. You can definitely tell the difference. 4. Features: dual card option (w/ ability to write to two memory cards at once), built in high ISO noise reduction (have to turn it on), speed is on point, fully tilt and flip screen and amazing low light capability. Even with a Sony GM 24-70mm (F2.4). The grip seems to be a little bigger than the a7iii but nothing to worry about. Sleek body. Beautiful set up. Completely different menu than what I’m used to. 5. Value: I wish I would’ve purchased this camera sooner. Completely worth the money and the time it takes to learn a camera like this.

Once again Sony proves to be the true leader of the hybrid/mirrorless cameras evolution race! This camera is an affordable alternative to A7s3, which allows good quality photos with its 33MP sensor as well as equivalent to its elder brothers' (A7R4, A7s3, FX3) video capabilities (cuz let's face it no one uses these cameras for external-raw on serious projects). At that price, this camera is a real tool that actually gets the job done and gets you the paycheck, everything else is for youtube tech reviewers, hobbyists and collectors. Many criticize sony for saving on some features such as custom luts, heavy codecs, and monitoring capabilities, I think the situation here is similar to what happens in the world of mobile phones - iPhone just works despite all of its limitations, and Android manufacturers just throw more features and hardware to make a good impression. As for this particular camera, it's like a sequel to Avatar... after A73 everyone expected it to be better in every regard, and that's exactly what Sony did. Its 10bit, its ALL-INTRA, its got h265 codec, its got the best eye tracking AF in the industry, its got slog3 and scinetone. There's just not much room to improve to impress customers anymore! I see thermals on this camera are often criticized here. I tell you this; the only occasion where I had it overheating was a 6-hour straight interview, which we shot in one piece in 4K 10bit 422. It overheated 2 times that day. 6 hours! For run-and-gun type of shoots, it never overheats. Also a lot of negative comments from people who clearly have no idea how to use a professional camera. They complain about "sensor issues" and "bending" while they shoot with fluorescent light at 30fps and their shutter at 1/250, they complain about overheating without even checking the "High temperature" menu, they argue that a 33PM sensor should allow 60fps from the full size of the sensor... To all buyers I'd suggest taking it for what it is - $2500 FF camera, that does 33MP photos and 10 bit FF video in codecs comparable to prores all this with the industry's leading autofocus capabilities. Amazing camera ...as expected! Had to wait for my copy for 2 months after the preorder upon release though.

A disappointed Canon user I have now moved into the Sony Camp to take advantages of third party Lens, which were blocked by Canon. The Good thing with the Sony is, I can attach all my Canon EF & EF-S Glass to the Sony with "Viltrox Mount Adaptor" to Sony e mount. Most of the Canon Lenses worked just fine. The 50 f1.2 EF Lens, that one had to be manually focused in stills and in Video mode, exposure was fine.
