Good E39 to medium base converter
I had an outdoor light that wasn't bright enough with medium base bulbs. The housing allowed me to add this adapter and attach a 5000 lumen E39 base bulb. Aesthetically it isn't the best as you can see the bulb protrude past the bottom of the light (in the fixture the bulb points straight down and the bottom is open) but that doesn't bother me as its on the back of the house. These adapters work well, but keep in mind that they will extend the length of the bulb by about 1.25".

They work great
Ordered a bunch of big ol' LED bulbs for studio lighting, unaware of the size of the base. Ordered these to correct my mistake, and they fit the bill just fine. They added about an inch and a half of length to the overall bulb height, so be aware of your given space limitations.
