Best for talking to my passanger
I have tried many different motorcycle intercom devices and was not very satisfied on the sound quality, functionality, and/or connectivity. My last purchase from another brand had a good music sounds when I am riding by myself, but it was very difficult to hear when I was riding with my wife. However, this unit really blows us away on intercom and music. When we install the unit to our helmet and try it out, we can immediately tell the significant difference in volume and clarity when talking to my wife. Volume was loud, but not too over powering and sound was clear and distinct. My wife was also very happy that we are now able to communicate with each other. The music and GSP was clear when it was in use.My main reason to get the motorcycle intercom is to talk to my wife when we are riding. We found the experience more enjoyable when we are able to share moment through intercom. This product is far better than anything that I have tested in this feature. Good work.My only wish is that I can share my music with my wife in addition to intercom conversation. This feature is not included in this unit and only unit that does this seems to go 5x more expensive. :(I am happy with the unit for now.

Dont do it
I can only think of 2 reasons why these would get a 5 star review.1. Older folks who ride goldwings with every wind deflector installed and never going above 50 mph.2. LiarsThe speakers are junk. No bass, and get screechy at high volume. Past 40mph you cant hear anything...anything at all. Even with a full face helmet, it sucks. Used once and returned them. For the price, not worth it. Nor would paying 500 on a name brand set be worth it either. Here is a great tip. Search amazon for a headphone set called KLOKOL. 20 bucks. The earbuds are small enough you can put your helmet on and off with ease, and you just tuck the mic up in your helmet...and eureka. High quality sound, loud even at high speeds, and you can make a phone call and talk no problem with someone. 20 bucks....vs the price of these...

Affordable & Works Great!
I was a little apprehensive because it's not one of the bigger name brand ones, but I'm very impressed with the quality and even happier that it saved me from spending hundreds of dollars! The battery stays charged for quite a while. I haven't had it go dead on me yet, which is great. I don't know exactly how long it lasts, but I've been on rides that lasted for about 5-6 hours, consistently listening to music and I didn't even get a low battery warning. I have been on numerous calls, and the person on the other end never knows I'm riding unless I tell them! It amazes me every time someone says they can't tell the difference, because I just assume that since I can't hear them very well, then they can't hear me. I do wish the speakers were a little louder because I can't hear very well when I'm riding on the highway. My helmet does get some wind noise, but riding at 90+ mph, that's to be expected. I'm going to try to make some adjustments with the placement of the speakers inside my helmet, to see if that makes a difference. I haven't had a chance to link it to other rider's devices, so I'm not sure how well that feature works. I did have a hard time trying to navigate the buttons correctly. It was frustrating because I could never get it to do what I intended. I solved the problem by purchasing a phone mount and some touchscreen riding gloves, and that has been working out perfectly.

For the price you can't beat these!
Product connects great to each other and my phone. One thing that was not clear to me in the description and the instructions is what can be operated at the same time. You can link to your cell phone via bluetooth to connect to music, phone calls, navigation and you can also activate google search/siri, with a push of the button. Once you activate the intercom between other riders, all those inputs are temporarily suspended, so it is possible to miss directions from your navigation. There is also an option to plus directly in from your phone with a 3.5mm plug, but I have not used that as I dont like to be restricted. Sound quality is good enough. Definitely not Bose, but they work. And for the price, these can't be beat!

Great for riding with others
I purchased this for my husband and I after we got separated during a wind/dust storm while riding. We quickly decided we must be able to communicate with each other while on our bikes. The install was fairly easy and they paired to both our phones and each other's helmets very easily. We start out making sure we're good and then I will sometimes switch to music. The only downside is that although I can answer calls during music, the intercom cannot be used while connected to my phone for music. That means we cannot communicate with each other if I'm listening to music. That's a bummer. The windsock fell off his mic during the first ride and thus the wind noise is TERRIBLE from his mic. I've ordered a replacement.
