Bachmann Industries Trains Track & Rail Cleaner (6 fl.oz) - for Use with All Scales for 168 months to 1200 months

Works as expected. I had a section that was sketchy and I applied the cleaner with a paper towel and that section works great now. Great stuff.

Cleaned FasTrack, Lighted FasTrack, RealTrax, and O-27 Gauge track nicely.I will buy again. Excellent train track cleaner.

First of all I am NOT a believer in "Snake-Oil" products. However, I was at my wits end because both of my Bachmann DCC (with sound) locomotives would momentarily "stall out" when going over crossovers and some of my switches. I cleaned the track manually, and then purchased a "track cleaning car" with an actual abrasive stone suspended underneath it. Neither of these did any appreciable good. I was also concerned about actually grinding down my track with the car.As a last result, I purchased a bottle of this stuff, used it to clean my track, and now all is well. I have been running my trains for the last week or so with absolutely no problems. I don't know what they did if or how they did it, but kudos to Bachmann. The only problem is that it is expensive, but this is probably the last bottle I'll have to buy.I now have two varieties of "Snake-oil" I believe in : this and "Sea-Foam". I may have to reconsider my position on this.

Great product

Great for cleaning the tracks, but after doing so my 4-8-4 steam locomotive just sat there spinning it's wheels. But after thoroughly wiping clean of residue the drive wheels and track, and running the train a few minutes it then seemed to "lock on" and then quit spinning.

Last Christmas my train was acting up, I pulled it out and looked at it when putting away and noticed the tracks were dirty, I used this week and it's now all aboard. The tracks are clean.
