This spike aerator has worked out extremely well for what I needed. I find the ones that remove a plug of soil very difficult to use, so had high hopes of the simple spikes. The tool arrives ready-assembled which was a major consideration for me. No tool I've needed to bolt together myself has ever lasted the distance around here! Using the aerator on the soft ground after those heavy spring rains has been amazingly simple. Tread it in, rock it slightly, pull it back, repeat. I'm a petite 5 foot 3 and not very strong or steady on my feet, and this tool has been very suitable for me. That means it's probably less help for somebody 6 foot tall. I'm now seriously tempted to buy the twist tiller from the same brand.

Nicely designed. A bit small for my large feet but worked well enough until the spikes started falling off. Suspect it is the quality of the welds. Should be 4 prongs, now only two left.

Ideal tool for MANUAL aerating of your lawn. Much easier than a garden fork ...... the spikes on the Walensee are straight and enter / exit the ground easily, whereas a garden fork's spikes are curved which makes extraction more difficult. Whilst still labour intensive, the only thing better than this manual Walensee tool would be an automated hollow tining machine. A sturdy well manufactured tool, good quality, RECOMMENDED as a manual option.

Appears to be strong, fairly light, comfortable handle hight, with a wide foot rest, sharp prongs and from a very brief trial appeared to work well and far easier to use with better results than with the tool it will now replace.

Me ha sorprendido muy bien la robustez y lo bien terminado que esta . El trabajo que realiza es muy bueno , A pesar de que los agujeros que realiza en el césped son bastante profundos su manejo es muy sencillo y no hay que realizar mucho esfuerzo.

Der Walensee Rasenlüfter ist stabil gebaut und leicht zu bedienen. Die massiven Stahlspikes dringen problemlos in den Boden ein und hinterlassen gleichmäßige Löcher, sodass Luft, Wasser und Nährstoffe besser an die Wurzeln gelangen. Nach der Anwendung wirkt der Rasen deutlich gesünder und kräftiger. Die Verarbeitung ist hochwertig, und das Gerät liegt angenehm in der Hand – ein langlebiges und effektives Werkzeug für die Rasenpflege.

Das Gerät ist zwar sehr teuer, aber wenn man es das erste Mal in der Hand hat, weiß man auch warum. Es ist super verarbeitet und hat einen bequemen Griff. Es erfüllt absolut seinen Zweck und ich benutze es jetzt regelmäßig, um meinen lehmigen Boden etwas durchlässiger zu machen und fülle in die Löcher dann etwas Sand.

Das Produkt habe ich bei Amazon bestellt und wurde nach drei Tagen in einen Riesen Karton geliefert. Es waren am Paket keine Dellen oder sonstiges zu sehen. Zum Produkt selber: Die Spitzen gehen sehr gut in den Rasenboden rein. Ich habe es nicht nach Anleitung gemacht, dort stand es das der rasen sehr nass sein sollte. Nach ca.4 soll es laut Hersteller der Forke dichteren rasen geben. Den rasen habe sehr kurz gemäht und noch ganz leicht vertikutiert. Ich habe zusätzlich Rasensand, Bio Dünger und neue Rasensamen gestreut. Und natürlich da die Wasserpreise so hoch sind jeden Morgen und abends für 1 Stunde Wasser gegeben. Bis jetzt sieht es schon sehr gut aus. Mal sehen was der rasen nach 4 Wochen sagt, dann kann ich weiteres berichten!

Seit ich meine Rasenfläche ca. 180 qm mit dem Rasenlüfter bearbeit, ist mein Rasen wunderschön grün. Täglich mache ich ein paar Löcher in die Rasenfläche. Macht Spaß und ich halte mich als älterer Mensch Fit. Gute Qualität und sehr stabil (schweres Eisen). Mit diesem Rasenlüfter macht man einen guten Kauf.
